Generally, people don't have pc's. Those who play and are some what dedicated to it, 90 percent of the time get ridiculed for saying they would like to go pro in esports. "Esports" in general is not seen as a profession in India, and some parents who are bit more open minded, see the toxicity in the scene and discourage they're children. Also the mumbai server's toxicity is something else, and even if you love the game, many just leave beacuse of that. So by adding factors such as studies + general discourgement by family members + PC's being costly + toxicity in the ranked q. A couple of my friends hit radiant and dreamed of going pro, got offers to trial for teams, but in the end life caught up to them, and they were forced to give up the game and start grinding and study for competive exams with the top colleges as a goal (let's say has a 100 seats) while around a million people write the exam. The pressure just gets to the average Indian youth with Esports dreams I'd say and they just give it up.
