Seems like a good dude but man he is really boring to watch, I see some of these threads glazing him saying he is better then Tarik but man idk I just cant watch for a long period of time I just get so bored.
TmhariMummy [#4]Everyone is accustomed to watching Tarik and there's a reason he's the biggest Val streamer rn.... dude's just really entertaining. Also it's fun to watch his streams when NA is getting dogged on
yup NA teams get shit on + NA streamers reaction (best content no cap)
chick [#6]I know, attention span has been destroyed by a lot of Short form content nowadays, you always have to do something engaging or you get bored.
watch tmv, bro plays geoguessr, wordle, rankedle etc. and when he doesn’t he rants about a random political party in a random region LOL
I feel he's just like us. He didn't really care about pros and talk honest about them and their play.
ItsMeDio [#8]I feel he's just like us. He didn't really care about pros and talk honest about them and their play.
Tmv feels like a friend who you’d watch with, whereas sliggy feels like a elder brother who’s interested in esports.
Shownu [#9]Fake reaction merchant Tarik over an informative play by play analyst? No wonder streamer region only care about clout.
It is what it is
main perk of sliggy is you'll get ~1-2 big breakdowns per map, pointers on what you should be looking out for with each comp at the start and reminders in rounds when there's a play bout to happen and you have pros/coaches show up in chat semi regularly to talk about stuff
he def doesnt provide reactions so if thats what you enjoy I can see why youd get bored pretty quickly. As mentioned above TMV is somewhat the middle ground for that, with some tactial insight, good stats from time to time and insane reactions
I personally just watched the main stream before since I found watch parties too distracting from the game so sliggy being a calm watchparty just sorta replaced that for me
Idk tarik doesnt even pay attention to the game. You really like those twitch chat KEKW/OMEGALUL/Pepega moments and fake reactions? I mean you could like them, but not for me. Also I never watch co-streams, just watch the main channel, the casters arent that bad except for borington and most of apac except achilios.
TmhariMummy [#4]Everyone is accustomed to watching Tarik and there's a reason he's the biggest Val streamer rn.... dude's just really entertaining. Also it's fun to watch his streams when NA is getting dogged on
Tarik isnt even paying attention and usually doesnt care unless SEN is playing
himne [#15]dont watch sliggy if you are looking to be entertained through exaggerated reactions and all, its for people looking for chill good vibes + analysis
watch tarik for comedy and entertainment, or tmv for a mix both
this
i really enjoy watching sliggy
He's not gonna give you good react content if that's what you want, but he's the most informative watch party out there, if you're interested in analysis and learning more about the game itself, no one is better than sliggy. But it all depends on what you're looking for. Whatever you think of him, he's pulling 5k every single day so clearly people like him.
stfu he is the GOAT
he is the best analytical streamer and also very funny once u watch and get to know him more
along with entertainment he will help you improve your game understanding by 1000x and inturn improve ur gameplay and can help you become 1000x the player u are and it can even help you to igl
him and steel r the underrated GOATS
ItsMeDio [#3]Watch TMV lmao
His reaction is real and pretty funny
tmv is fine, i just lose my mind when he says "they're trolling" when a team gets fairly outplayed
kinda shows biases and turns me away from the content, at least tarik makes his biases known and turns it into a joke

same
i used to watch shroud (lmao) and tarik a bit but they are either too loud or have like 3 other persons in the call and it just ends up being annoying.
recently started watching sliggy and its just the perfect stream for me.

I fully understand that it's just that I watch these matches for entertainment I really don't care about all the insight of the match

He is also VERY impressed by gimmicks which gets annoying imo

This really killed the whole watching the watchparty expereince for me. I just started watching the main streams after that. If not mostly sliggy, then TMV and Sideshow in KC games.

W
Sliggy is best.
Plenty of points already said from people above me.
I just want to add that I like how wholesome he is. He rarely talks bad about players and he tries to make sure his chat doesn’t talk shit too.
He’s just out here with good chill vibes breaking down the game from a coaches perspective.
Shownu [#9]Fake reaction merchant Tarik over an informative play by play analyst? No wonder streamer region only care about clout.
fake reaction merchant? dude, it's an entertainment. all streamers overreact, some more, some less. there is absolutely no reason to compare or underestimate the work. I personally enjoy watching both

I LOVE TMV HE IS GOATED

ill miss the sideshow kc era
alice_ [#33]ill miss the sideshow kc era
The thing is KC genuinely have potential to be good with a roster change, and then no more sideshow malding 😭😭
LouBag [#30]Sliggy is best.

It surprised me to hear him that he yells at his players when coaching them, I never expected that out of someone so quiet and calm

He can use "trolling" or "throwing" but I think it's good to have decent expectations of pro players whose full-time job is to learn how to play smarter and better. And he does great analysis while also being excited

Personally I think he can be too forgiving, although we did see him crack when KC was at their lowest. I think it's fine to criticize pro players when they make a bad play or overheat. Obviously I hate when chat or streamers make blanket statements about a player or team like "FNS can't aim lul" or whatever
neID [#31]fake reaction merchant? dude, it's an entertainment. all streamers overreact, some more, some less. there is absolutely no reason to compare or underestimate the work. I personally enjoy watching both
He doesn't even watch the games. Valorant gets Tarik the most views and the reason he blew up from the constant 3k he had back in CS. Happy for him but atleast be genuine.
Goatguynut [#26]I fully understand that it's just that I watch these matches for entertainment I really don't care about all the insight of the match
cool, basically every other watch party is focusing on that lol. from your perspective, he might be boring, but if you're looking for analysis, he's the best streamer out there. i personally think tarik is way, waaaaay more boring, he doesnt even watch the game. it's what you want out of the stream.
Shownu [#41]He doesn't even watch the games. Valorant gets Tarik the most views and the reason he blew up from the constant 3k he had back in CS. Happy for him but atleast be genuine.
You can blew up because of something (which also requires hard work), but to grow and maintain your audience, you need to be entertaining. So please don't understimate a talent and hard work.
Most of the time, he is focused intermittently, but when it comes to serious matches like playoffs or champions, he is completely dialed in. For example Fnatic - Loud or SEN - 100T. It's also a meme when he misses a sick play, and he doesn't deny it. Personally, I don't need someone to analyze or react to every move, he has a great balance of it.
I suppose his streams are just not for you. Personally, I find myself laughing a lot during watch parties. Among all Valorant streamers/players, only Ardiis is funnier.
Also, solely providing dry analysis during watch parties can become a bit boring. However, there are moments when I genuinely enjoy watching Sean Gares or Sliggy.
mysterii [#43]i like sliggy more than tarik bc tarik only watches halg the game, hes just screaming his head off and playing rankedle
half? its around 20% imo
