Looks like the strongest teams on paper rn
Mjtchell [#2]T1 with 3 duelists?
You're crazy
DRX had 3 duelists too (mako, rb, buzz)
Wont be a problem, especially since munchkin is a flex player

Initially T1 will not do good. DRX is doing better because they have all been working towards the roles theyve been playing
Have most recently all been star duelists and have played otherwise
KoreanOverlord [#9]I thinks so
Munchkin + sayaplayer way too much talent
Interesting take, excited
What do you think of ban and Lakia tho
Mjtchell [#8]Initially T1 will not do good. DRX is doing better because they have all been working towards the roles theyve been playing

Bro I dont know how closely you follow KR scene, but DRX just lost to f4q, added 2 more duelists (mako and buzz) and became first in one tournament
KoreanOverlord [#9]I thinks so
Munchkin + sayaplayer way too much talent
you think? saya has been looking a bit shaky in stage 2 and lcq. hope he smashes it in the pacific
kremo [#7]NAVI with cNed and FNC with Chronicle,Leo is too good
Am I the only one not that hyped about navi? Fpx couldnt win a map against DRX in 2 bo3s, then they replace ardiss with cned which is an upgrade but not sure if it will instantly make them a super team like fnatic

they literally role swapped between m2 and champions..
patuj [#15]T1 shouldn't be there I would rate both TL and NaVi easily over them and if you talk about regions then DRX is better than T1
Hell no. DRX over TL and Navi and I think T1 is stronger on paper than DRX.
jimjam789 [#12]you think? saya has been looking a bit shaky in stage 2 and lcq. hope he smashes it in the pacific
Saya is inconsistent in ranked but in competition he ALWAYS shows up
KoreanOverlord [#17]Hell no. DRX over TL and Navi and I think T1 is stronger on paper than DRX.
What?
Mortadelo [#10]Interesting take, excited
What do you think of ban and Lakia tho
Ban Im not sure, in NA he was def a hidden gem that was on the come up like old yay, I think he will do fairly well
Lakia I heard george ceddes say its not confirmed, but this guy is a monster. All aim no brain sadly. But he has a talent at stuffing the stat sheet and he always gets his. So in a super team like this I think he will do well
KoreanOverlord [#13]Am I the only one not that hyped about navi? Fpx couldnt win a map against DRX in 2 bo3s, then they replace ardiss with cned which is an upgrade but not sure if it will instantly make them a super team like fnatic
FNC will be super team for sure after Chronicle and Leo transfers
KoreanOverlord [#11]Bro I dont know how closely you follow KR scene, but DRX just lost to f4q, added 2 more duelists (mako and buzz) and became first in one tournament
I understand that, but rb was underperforming for a while as the main duelist, and once they switched buzz to the main duelist DRX stepped it up even higher.
Internationally they were struggling with all three there. Like I said DRX against INTERNATIONAL competition were looking shaky initially when all three were there. Now that theyve worked and developed more they fit in a lot better.
MaRvEdFanBoy1867 [#20]i dont think c9 is the best Americas team. I think that Leviatan and SEN and NRG are currently the best Americas teams. Navi and liquid look like the best Emea teams. DRX and prx are still the best APAC teams
Yeah those teams are probably stronger but on paper c9 fnatic t1 look scary
KoreanOverlord [#18]Saya is inconsistent in ranked but in competition he ALWAYS shows up
hmmm stage 2 and lcq he was getting sub 220 acs which didn't impress me that much but ig in t1 they would have better set ups for him to dominate even further.
KoreanOverlord [#18]Saya is inconsistent in ranked but in competition he ALWAYS shows up
oh yeah wanted to ask this, but all damwon bias aside would you have preffered t1 texture or saya
jimjam789 [#21]if T1 had -ban +bazzi I would have thoguht that they were the best team on paper in pacific
Yeah bazzi needs to find a team asap
Dude is so underrated but in scrims he diffs the entire DRX roster - mako and rb
Mjtchell [#24]I understand that, but rb was underperforming for a while as the main duelist, and once they switched buzz to the main duelist DRX stepped it up even higher.

I dont man, I feel like you saying T1 will do bad because of role conflicts is just wishful thinking
Historically teams that picked duelists and old duelists role swaps do extremely well
KoreanOverlord [#29]Yeah bazzi needs to find a team asap
Dude is so underrated but in scrims he diffs the entire DRX roster - mako and rb
I would love for bazzi to be geng but it probably won't happen right? a team of meteor bazzi ts k1ng sylvan could also be comparable to t1 and drx but oh well
jimjam789 [#28]oh yeah wanted to ask this, but all damwon bias aside would you have preffered t1 texture or saya
Saya
Theyre both OW players but saya is just more polished while t3xture needs more experience on a GOOD val team
jimjam789 [#31]I would love for bazzi to be geng but it probably won't happen right? a team of meteor bazzi ts k1ng sylvan could also be comparable to t1 and drx but oh well
I have no idea whats going on with geng
I dont think they started practicing lol
KoreanOverlord [#25]Yeah those teams are probably stronger but on paper c9 fnatic t1 look scary
t1 dont look very scary. At least not compared to APAC superteams
KoreanOverlord [#30]I dont man, I feel like you saying T1 will do bad because of role conflicts is just wishful thinking

their point is DRX have been together way longer than t1 has so it will take a while for them to reach DRX's level
unknown_trash [#35]their point is DRX have been together way longer than t1 has so it will take a while for them to reach DRX's level
Yeah that I can agree with, but this guy just wrote 3 duelist wont work lol
MaRvEdFanBoy1867 [#34]t1 dont look very scary. At least not compared to APAC superteams
if a team is enough to match drxs firepower I am sure they are enough for these apac 'superteams'
KoreanOverlord [#36]Yeah that I can agree with, but this guy just wrote 3 duelist wont work lol
i think t1 can make it work. im more worried about the smoke player, since both lakia and xeta have played exclusively main initiator for a while and because controller is a really important role.
annoybrocc02 [#27]FNC hype train
ah shit here we go againimo navi better
tbh how can you not be hyped for Fnatic? Like the players they’re rumoured to get should surely make that team come close to winning something next year or else their coaching staff needs a re work
ColdWKey [#39]tbh how can you not be hyped for Fnatic? Like the players they’re rumoured to get should surely make that team come close to winning something next year or else their coaching staff needs a re work
Don't get me wrong fnc looks great, however it also feels like dejavu
annoybrocc02 [#40]Don't get me wrong fnc looks great, however it also feels like dejavu
it definitely does but the roster they’re going to have is such a big upgrade that if they don’t make it to at least top 3 with that roster at the kickoff tournament I'll be disappointed (most likely gonna happen somehow)
jimjam789 [#21]if T1 had -ban +bazzi I would have thoguht that they were the best team on paper in pacific
ban is better
KoreanOverlord [#13]Am I the only one not that hyped about navi? Fpx couldnt win a map against DRX in 2 bo3s, then they replace ardiss with cned which is an upgrade but not sure if it will instantly make them a super team like fnatic
That's just ur bias imo. idk why ur using DRX to decide if they are good or not. fpx has won something at Lan while DRX have been very inconsistent
vern [#43]That's just ur bias imo. idk why ur using DRX to decide if they are good or not. fpx has won something at Lan while DRX have been very inconsistent
They have been consistently disappointing
unknown_trash [#38]i think t1 can make it work. im more worried about the smoke player, since both lakia and xeta have played exclusively main initiator for a while and because controller is a really important role.
xeta can play viper well and i'm sure that munchking can too
Valgod [#44]They have been consistently disappointing
exactly, not sure how you can say I'm not excited for a team just because they haven't beaten my team in TWO bo3s
jimjam789 [#37]if a team is enough to match drxs firepower I am sure they are enough for these apac 'superteams'
how does t1 match drx?
YvngKurry [#6]Navi and TL look good asf too. I thought vit would look good but they are starting to look avg :(((
twisten - top 3 duelists EU
Molsi - extremely underrated flex player
bonecold - GOAT
Cender - Carried vit in tier 2
MaRvEdFanBoy1867 [#48]how does t1 match drx?
this was when lakia was still going to be on t1
DRX vs T1
Buzz >= saya
stax > ban
mako > xeta
zest < lakia
rb < munchkin
both are pretty much the same in terms of firepower
thatpower [#46]xeta can play viper well and i'm sure that munchking can too
im talking about omen, astra and stuff like that. however, i suppose it is possible for an initiator or duelist player to learn smokes to a high level.
