so as we all know the LEC and the LEC bootleg(lcs) has had close to 0 international success the past 10 yrs(besides winning irrelvant msi). Why is the west so bad?

mentality,and how popular the game is there korea alone has a bigger playerbase than euw, and they and china take the game wayy more seriously than eu or NA,go watch edg coach clip and fpx doctheir coaches are literally yelling at them and putting a lot pressure the mentality is a lot more like traditional sports compared to eu or NA

Korea has less than 52 million in population, and most of them are on the older side since Korea has the worlds lowest fertility rate with long life expectancy's masking the low fertility rate problem. Western Europe has a population of almost 200 million. Not only do sources (like the one archetype linked below) show EUW has a much larger playerbase, common sense can be used to draw reasonable conclusions.
so what are those numbers i showed,but eitherway my point was mainly about popularity and how seriously passionate they are about the game,for example t1 fans literally protesting against the org because they cant win worlds parking trucks in front of their office that is just next level commitment that doesnt happen anywhere else lol
yeah but my point has nothing to do with playerbase at the i meant to use it as a point on how popular the game is it doesn't even change anything if the player base is smaller because its still massive for a single country with 1/4 of euw population not even counting all the nearby region players who play there
what doesn't sense, my point is league is still way more popular in Korea than euw overall if you compare how small Korea is compared to the whole of Europe, and its not only about player base its about the popularity and how interested people are in it in general, just look at Sweden and Denmark in cs, they have 15m people combined yet have more majors than almost all the other regions combined
They have more wins because they practice alot, are dedicated, etc. Plus, you were incorrectly arguing how Korea has a larger playerbase than western Europe by saying false stuff like "korea alone has a bigger playerbase than euw". Idk why you're suddenly changing your story and arguing about popularity now rather than raw playerbase numbers which you were basing your earlier argument off.
nah bro i don't know what happened but japan suddenly has huge playerbase in valorant don't know why.
give them some time in franchising they will improve and korea is going to dominate asia,
alongside prx scattered korean talent returning back to korea sayaplayer ,meteor when backed up by orgs like T1 will perform
and sea can also shock you everyone knows that now and india don't know new kids on the block might surprise us maybe?
I think its time for riot to just make LCS a minor region and give more slots to actually good teams, I'm tired of seeing the NA orgs get free spots at worlds just to go 0-6 in groups and get knocked out by like the 4th place LCK and 3rd place LPL teams, make them earn their spot before giving byes.
