Arguably that tournament will be more hype and higher stakes than Champions as it proves which regions objectively have the most depth.
archetype [#3]hahahaha maybe man maybe BR will unexpectedly get home crowd buff and shit on all the other teams
they should do one in asia lowkey
meramoer [#5]wouldnt make much difference tho, the top teams from each region would still finish near the top
roster window bro!!!
meramoer [#5]wouldnt make much difference tho, the top teams from each region would still finish near the top
not with a shitton of F/As and it's all about that regional depth
archetype [#3]hahahaha maybe man maybe BR will unexpectedly get home crowd buff and shit on all the other teams
you should not expect much from other teams aside LOUD
archetype [#7]not with a shitton of F/As and it's all about that regional depth
a 30 team tournament would cost so much to run just for most of the teams to get shit on, regional depth isn't something that matters in any capacity
Valgod [#8]No region even comes close to emea in depth and it's not just bias
Yes! That’s exactly why EMEA still has all three teams in Champions left! Wait…
Okayyyyyy [#9]Can’t wait to see how much ass Damwon’s gonna whoop.
On a real note though, it’ll be good to see all these teams get international experience. We’re gonna see a lot of new faces up on stage
t3xture on lan is actually the greatest thing to happen to valorant
Sprouts [#13]Yes! That’s exactly why EMEA still has all three teams in Champions left! Wait…
How many do the other regions have? Emea has always had the upperhand in every global valorant tournament so far except 2022 Iceland that too coz their 2 best teams had problems. Fnc with 2 subs and fpx with no visa
Valgod [#8]No region even comes close to emea in depth and it's not just bias
the depth of emea comes from their place in the lower bracket 💀

You forgot Iceland 2021 too

fr
these tranfer window are gonna be INSANE
Sprouts [#13]Yes! That’s exactly why EMEA still has all three teams in Champions left! Wait…
No, but it is why we have all of our teams in playoffs unlike any other region, and why we've won LAN events with 3 different teams unlike no other region
Woofysayswoof [#14]t3xture on lan is actually the greatest thing to happen to valorant
Don’t think I’ve ever seen a bigger W take on this site
shantanu [#25]These 30 teams are invited teams right???
Yes, 10 from each of the franchising regions
shantanu [#25]These 30 teams are invited teams right???
yes all 10 franchised teams from all 3 major regions
BonoVox [#10]you should not expect much from other teams aside LOUD
TBK will shock the world!
nvm TBK will not play i am dumb
Valgod [#8]No region even comes close to emea in depth and it's not just bias
This was true like a year ago
Mortadelo [#19]No, but it is why we have all of our teams in playoffs unlike any other region, and why we've won LAN events with 3 different teams unlike no other region
NA has won LAN events with 2 different teams and there have only been 5 events total excluding this one...if OpTic wins Champs which they have a high likelihood too, then it's the same as EMEA
Valgod [#8]No region even comes close to emea in depth and it's not just bias
na has the most depth because the entire tier 2 csgo scene switched to valorant. eu basically has no depth because there are still hundreds of EU teams in CS.
which isn’t a knock on EU, btw, honestly impressed at how competitive they are with less depth.

That’s why I said 3 more than any other region, cause it’s true, even if OPTC wins and proves that they are better than any EMEA team, this guys point is not wrong, EMEA still has the most spread out achievements which gives the region the depth that we have

thats true, but i think EMEA dominance is beginning to come to an end maybe?

What kind of proof is Cs players switched, talk about facts and achievements dude
archetype [#36]thats true, but i think EMEA dominance is beginning to come to an end maybe?
Definitely not as dominant as in the past that’s just a straight fact and no one is gonna deny that. Depth and being the best are two different things and that is why I’m defending this guy cause I can’t find a single reason why his point would be wrong
meramoer [#5]wouldnt make much difference tho, the top teams from each region would still finish near the top
idk man valorant is a random ass game according to vlr

true. i think it helped though that EMEA did get the most slots out of every region back in 2021 for Champs
archetype [#41]true. i think it helped though that EMEA did get the most slots out of every region back in 2021 for Champs
Yes and no tho, EMEA did have the most amount of slots. But, if you count slots as current distribution (America’s, Asia, and EMEA) EMEA still has the most achievements while having the fewer spots. Idk if I’m explaining myself properly here tho

Still, I’m so happy this is not CS or Lol where a region has absolute dominance over the game, this is way way better
Mortadelo [#45]Still, I’m so happy this is not CS or Lol where a region has absolute dominance over the game, this is way way better
way more exciting - I wanted APAC to win M2 and either LOUD/DRX to win Champs, so all regions have a trophy
archetype [#46]way more exciting - I wanted APAC to win M2 and either LOUD/DRX to win Champs, so all regions have a trophy
I do support both DRX and Loud over OPTC, can’t go against my region tho (Unless it’s LATAM ofc get en boys)
Mortadelo [#37]What kind of proof is Cs players switched, talk about facts and achievements dude
facts and achievement?
ok, sure.
you can barely find people like derke, nats, ardiis, etc on liquipedia or hltv. their profiles barely even exist, that's how irrelevant they were in CSGO.
meanwhile, players like s0m, ethan, wardell, steel, vanity, yay, depph, etc all have plenty of experience in tier 2 csgo. you can go check.
not sure if this is what you meant but that's the point i wanted to make, thx

No that’s not what I meant, I get that point, my question is why does that make the NA tier 2 scene have a bigger depth.
I’m asking you to back it up with things those players have done in Valorant that EMEA tier 2 players haven’t. Is the line with tier 1 less clear because they’re better? How often do tier 2 players make it to tier 1? How equal is the scene, are there dominant teams or is it equal and has variety. That’s what I actually meant, Idc if they come from CS that’s not proof of anything
