Riot has revealed details regarding Game Changers Championship, an eight-team LAN held in Berlin and the first-ever global GC event.
The Game Changers circuit was first introduced in February 2021, in order to provide "new opportunities and exposure for women and other marginalized genders within VALORANT esports," increasing their VCT competitiveness in the process. In December of the same year, Riot unveiled plans to host a Champions analogue for Game Changers, pitting the best GC teams against each other in a LAN setting.
Between November 15 and 20, eight teams will be flown into Berlin to play Game Changers Championship. The teams will play a double-elimination bracket, with slots distributed according to each region's competitiveness and player population. Riot has also promised more details closer to the event.
EMEA and NA each hold two slots, making up half of the total participants. Brazil, LATAM, East Asia and Asia-Pacific have each received one slot.
