Yeah I was also about to say that sunset is his worst map by far, but he's still doing his job really well. He got 15 assists yesterday despite not having many kills, and that is where I think the controller role shines, because they are support players. Makos omen is really good though. I hope that DRX plays mako on omen on Haven because I've never seen a better defense omen anchor on Haven than mako on c site. He mostly plays viper now though. Which isn't bad, but I like watching him play omen or brim or even astra a lot more.

yep im talking about like right now, very recent, like playoffs and todays game. at the beginning of stage 1 he was playing insane but ever since the new guys have started stepping up more, his performance seems to have slowed down. hes still really good, and it probably means nothing, but just from watching the game today, he was losing a lot more gunfights than i would have expected him to. maybe today and other days were just "bad" (whatever that means for a player like mako) days. maybe its because he is now the igl, so his performance is expected to take a dip anyways, but idk. he looks a little worse now than he did in 2023.

ok buzz might have a fragile mental but mako absolutely does not imo. he was the only one stepping up against big opponents since 2022, and his performance does not really get as bad as buzz does when facing strong opposition. but he also shows hardly any emotion normally anyways so i can never tell if it actually affects him at all or not.

in more recent times, im inclined to say that buzz is the best performing player at the moment. mako is good, but he isnt putting up mako 2022 and 2023 numbers anymore. maybe because his team is stepping up a lot more now, but still, he is losing his touch slightly. still amazing as a player, but i would rate him equally as good as pretty much everyone else on the team right now.

for EMEA i want to see TH NAVI VIT and then FUT from points because sayf and trexx deserve it.

yeah as a hardcore DRX fan, that sunset map against zeta today scared me because the team looked like it kind of fell apart. i dont think DRX can beat PRX this year because the team is still new and fresh, and can collapse like they did horribly on sunset.

Ok so they lost the consistency of reaching 5th-6th?? Yeah the team seems to have been set back a little, but it really is unfair to expect rookies to produce results immediately. And you act like the two teams that DRX have lost to aren't the two beat teams in the region, including the masters shanghai winners. At the end of the day, the old DRX would probably achieve similar results. They really haven't become worse by much, so I think we just need to give this iteration of DRX a bit more time.

Ok fine. Lets say you're right. Less is still a top 5 itw sentinel at worst. Which is incredible that he has managed to stay this consistent for 3 years now. That should tell you that he isn't going anywhere and is still top tier. And fair, we don't know if pancada is still the best smokes in americas, but that's not because he is bad. Its because he literally hasn't played smokes since the beginning of 2023. And he was really good in 2022, top 3 itw with only marved rivalling him in americas. With pancada, loud will look so much better. Also how can you say saadhak isn't one of the best in the world when he is one of the very very few igls that kept his team consistent after several downgrades? No other igl in the world has proven to do that yet, apart from maybe boostio but 2023 EG was still really good. LOUD lost sacy aspas and pancada and had 3 rookies this year and still qualified for playoffs which is insane. And igls across the world acknowledge his talents. Also, all the crazy comebacks LOUD have made before is most likely due to saadhak's igling. So, while it is debatable, there is an argument to say saadhak is one of the best igls in the world even now.

Its probably because geng lost to T1 before falling to lowers, and geng did end up only getting second seed after losing to PRX in playoffs. However, if we have learned anything from geng this year, it's that their ability to bounce back after losses is almost unmatched. The only other team that I've seen who has done it as well as geng was 2022 LOUD. GENG just won after coming back from losing ascent, one of their best maps, against TH and 1 map away from missing the trophy in the finals. And this is after coming second at Madrid and losing to both DRX and PRX in groups in stage 1, before losing to T1 in playoffs and bouncing back very well to be able to go to shanghai. This team is very good at winning after taking losses, which I think is their absolute strongest aspect. They almost missed out on kickoff because they were in the same group as PRX, and they had to play through playins, then beat expectations to even make it to masters Madrid. Their entire story through 2024 so far is coming back from situations and rough or intense games that most teams would not.

Last year we had kamyk as the goat sub from EMEA, this time we got patitek except he's way better. I'm noticing a pattern...

Well that is because it is not representative of the rest of the sample. That's the main reason why outliers are excluded. Their sens is extreme even compared to other pros. This means that their sens will skew the average, and wouldn't represent the majority of the population. Considering the range of the rest of the data is quite small comparatively, it provides even more grounds to exclude them two as outliers, despite being two of the best aimers in the game. Doesn't it make sense? Their sens seems to only work for them, and most other pros do not have such high sensitivities.
