No DRX is guaranteed playoffs and while they had a bit of a hiccup last week, I believe that they are still in a good spot to make it despite the team looking extremely rough around the edges. They would probably go out in groups at champions though.

Russ is so so so bad, it's just that the trash can hide better if they are playing in a dumpster of a team. I don't mean to be rude, but I simply hate russ for what he did to the guild core. He was (and probably still would be) a tier 3 EMEA player and I think he's had long enough to prove that he should not stay on GE. If anything, I would be more willing to keep benkai on the team over him.

their team has changed quite drastically since then. if you are trying to suggest that mako and buzz are the problem, then whatever you are saying would make sense. but this team is fresh and i believe that they are really talented. flashback is one of the best new korean players to join the tier 1 scene imo, and they are all quite young or taking on new roles in the team. im not saying DRX is the next geng, all im saying is that they have a good chance to do something in the near future.

But last year, GE did have monyet who is quite good on the controller role but not a strong duelist. So if lightningfast was taken off the bench, He would have probably replaced monyet. And I think monyet did a lot for bleed last year so that wouldn't be fair. Unless lightningfast was willing to flex instead of play smokes, there wasn't really a place for him to move to the main roster last year.

Before the insanely talented rookies entered the tier 1 scene in 2024. Lots of players in all roles have tumbled down the rankings since 2024 began because so many new players and pros playing new roles have emerged.

It's sad because despite all these new faces in DRX, it still feels like DRX get stomped against teams with good players like PRX if mako doesn't show up :(. I hope DRX can grow to become a team where every player is dependable and can carry a game in the future.

it was because the head coach got dropped so the new coach realized sayf carry season has returned. also side note, runner kind of reminds me of wolfen from KOI, where he was not very good at duelisting but he is good at sentinel agents.

Foxy9 clears stax and stax's igling clearly wasn't working when the team got to playoffs. He had three years to either learn how to igl or leave the team, and I think stax is better off at T1 now.

Right now I would give it to karon, but mako has had a higher peak than karon imo. Their playstyles are very different too.
