Maybe learn ult lineups for sites and choke points so that you at least know the angles and spots to play from in viper ult? That can help a lot. I don't play viper anymore but I noticed ult lineups can really make post plant for example in the ult so much easier, and play making potential increases a lot because you know where your ult smokes and covers, especially the small angles and corners that you can use for your advantage.

The closest analogy would be locations on the valorant maps not having the same callouts that everyone recognises. Why isn't there a single name for a particular spot on the map that everyone would know and recognise as that location? Like why some people call dugout on pearl a site secret, and that confuses people. But time zones don't really work like this. For example, someone may have a callout that is different in their own language and so having one name which is only in English may not work for everyone across the world. Especially since time zones give us an idea of when roughly the sun rises and sets in other parts of the world, just like how people using their own language for locations makes it easier for them because not everyone knows English. Besides, all timezones are calibrated around GMT so they are all GMT plus or minus a certain number of hours to roughly account for sun rise and sunset tikes, as well as noon and midnight roughly being around 12am and 12pm.

for under 2 years of huge growth (the game was only released in china in mid 2023 iirc), china has achieved so much that the ceiling in that region seems to be higher than the other regions which have had up to 3 years of similar growth. sure, the game is more heavily promoted in china than anywhere else in the world, but that doesn't explain how chinese teams are capable of this level of competition in only their second year of game release there. especially when before, china was only seen as a laughing stock and could were only compared to tier 2 teams in any other region. the hype is not unwarranted, but because the region itself has not proven themselves beyond EDG, most people feel like they are overhyped. i see a lot of potential in the chinese teams because they remind me of the pacific teams back in 2021, except they did a lot more in 2024 than the pacific teams did back then.
