two losses, against 2 good teams(RRQ good enough to beat Gen G on a really good day) while we are testing things out, MaKo is learning how to igl, he can learn fast dw.
BeYn technically playing new role. Flashback too. We will find our strength and then everyone will see how good this team really is.

To be fair I think with no change they would have been favorite to win champions because every other good team would be burnout because of Masters, but now they might even not qual :x

RRQ is not "good" enough to beat Gen G on a really good day.
Rather, Gen G would have to be playing terribly.
And we fucking lost to RRQ. I love this team but unless that happened to be a very off-day for DRX we are cooked.

did you even watch, gen g did well, it’s just that meteor had a off day. and he didn’t even play that bad tbh. Everyone at that time was hyping RRQ up because they had a really good upside but we’re not consistent enough to get results. Seems you forgot

yeah idk honestly. mechanically buzz and flashback can be good firepower to DRX. mako is always consistent but igl might screw him over. As much as I recall, Foxy9 doesn't seem to be particularly talented in sentinel role tho. he's not bad but not great either, and this won't suffice for a trophy winning team. beyn seems to pop off every once in a while, but nothing crazy

role issue persists, and i hope they figure it out.

yeah, all we can do is put our faith in them, trust and wait. Even so, i’m in this shit for the long run. They are the youngest team in val, potential is very much there for all the players.

yeah he sure is cracked on duelist but still buzz is a better duelist in my opinion.
just like meteor had to go senti to make room for texture, foxy9 has to do it for buzz

May be they can switch roles when raze , buzz is an excellent jett but his raze plays are questionable

But foxy played really well as a senti last split and his stats were good , may be its all the new igl calling

I remember foxy going 1 on 1 against meteor on bind showrs and it was a 50:50

Been hearing this for 4 years now and the fact that fucking Gen.G won a tournament before these lot shows the ceiling of this team.
DRX's consistency is just making it to International events due to low competition in APAC. No trophy won and No Final played in 4 years and I should BELIEVE that they are one of the best in the world? Please explain yourself and how exactly they are really good?

their team has changed quite drastically since then. if you are trying to suggest that mako and buzz are the problem, then whatever you are saying would make sense. but this team is fresh and i believe that they are really talented. flashback is one of the best new korean players to join the tier 1 scene imo, and they are all quite young or taking on new roles in the team. im not saying DRX is the next geng, all im saying is that they have a good chance to do something in the near future.

nah, ppl are way overreacting to this loss. losing 12-14, 12-14 to RRQ isn’t enough to warrant this. RRQ threw rounds but you can easily tell DRX were playing something they don’t usually do, and they struggled to adapt. They also completely threw map 1 away.
