It's definitely possible. On paper they have more firepower than Liquid and imo GiantX and with ENGH and MAGNUM on the strategic side I'm thinking they could definitely be able to out think them. I have high hopes for KC

1. EDG - Most obvious pick ever

2. JDG - The Rare Atom core, who were dominating pretty much everyone else and are one of the very few teams to beat EDG domestically

3. Trace Esports - The only other team to beat EDG domestically

4. FPX - Pretty consistent deep runs in the domestic league and have the second most LAN experience of any Chinese team

5. DRG - Have historically been decent, could definitely move higher if they keep their Ascension form up

6. BLG - Beat the most storied core in Valorant history at Champions, kinda fell off domestically afterwards. Should look better with bear imo since rin was a weak link and Biank is more free to frag now. Could definitely move up.

7. Wolves - Recently announced their roster and have quite a few decent players plus 3 players on the bench for prac purposes. Dark horse candidates.

8. TEC - Picked up Rb which is very exciting but other than that nothing jumps out about them. Should be middling imo

9. Tyloo - Have always been kinda middling domestically and haven’t made any super exciting roster moves

10. All Gamers - No super notable signings, very unremarkable

11. Nova - Same as All Gamers tbh

I think that may be a bit of a stretch. Secret's peak DEFINITELY can't touch PRX on an average day. DRX are still DRX. Bleed has firepower second only to PRX. ZETA has 3 proven players and 2 cracked young players. T1 were consistently good last year and have only made upgrades. They may even struggle to make playoffs ngl.

I think Shanghai and Champs should be a lock. Idk if they can make Madrid though. NRG have enough raw talent on their team to rival FNATIC, with 4 of the most experienced players in the world + Demon1, who was basically the yay of 2023. Then LEV also have insane raw talent, with the best fragging IGL in the world, the best duelist in Americas for at least most of last year and debatably all year, an absolutely insane initiator player, one of the most talented tier 2 players from last year and a super experienced smokes player who's always historically been good even in weak teams. It's not impossible but it's certainly improbable.

Boostio is literally the best player on this team while IGL’ing tf are you on? Cryo and Asuna are the problems. Cryo is a baiter Chamber merchant who can’t attack to save his life and Asuna is one of the most experienced players in all of VCT who still looks like he’s had the game for a few months at most, and hasn’t grown at all since 2021

1. FNATIC - Obvious

2. NAVI - My FPX hopium levels are in the stratosphere

3. Vitality - I like what I saw at Convergence and they’re making a massive upgrade with trexx

4. FUT - Looked quite good last year, made some pretty significant upgrades

5. Liquid - Look good strategically but lacking in firepower

6. GiantX - The definition of consistently decent but never amazing

7. Karmine Corp - Have a ton of young talent, inexperienced roster with the potential to outperform Liquid and GiantX imo

8. BBL - Cracked roster, not very impressive strategically but I think they’ll be able to beat all the teams below them off of sheer firepower

9. Gentle M8’s - Were kinda meh for most of last year before going on a hot streak in Ascension. I’m not super hopeful for them to keep up their Ascension form but could definitely prove me wrong

10. Heretics - Alright firepower, meh strategy. Don’t have enough of either to compete with teams higher than them imo.

11. KOI - Could maybe have a little bit of hope seeing as they finally have a dedicated smokes player, but the roster building of this team is still fucked. They lost their best player and still have the same issue as they did last year, that being too many flex initiator players. Seriously, why the fuck did they sign ShadoW instead of a dedicated Sentinel player so Sheydos could play flex. Bizarre team

I'm fucking infuriated. How the fuck has the esports equivalent of a crumbling termite mound built out of faeces managed to still somehow create a better roster than mibr? Why the fuck can mibr not build a decent roster to save their lives. There's more than enough talent in Brazil to build a good team. Mazin was a decent pickup but everyone else is so mid and had or currently has better alternatives. Dgzin would probably murder for a spot on a Tier 1 team and he's already worked with mazin before on Furia. Nzr just became available, who speaks Portuguese and was a bright spot on LEV last year and is a cracked Initiator player. Fucking PANCADA is just sitting on Sentinels' bench clearly still wanting to compete, waiting for another team to grab him. pancc was one of the best Sentinel players in tier 2 last year. But instead mibr just decide to scour for random ass players you've never heard of with z's in their name. And because of their apparent refusal to go big and try and pick up big name talent, the penniless fucking leeches over at EG have somehow managed to construct a better roster than them, despite the fact they're probably paying their players in McDonalds Happy Meals with carrot sticks instead of fries.
