So they probably make like 15-20k a month with some of the elite tier 1 going up to 25k.. Players like tenz, s0m probably abit higher cause of their own streams and brand deals.

Japan needs what is called an entertainer visa for players to compete in a competition held in Japan - this is different from a normal tourist visa as those people make money from the tournament. Processing this visa takes time

Valorant will always have a meta - it just means a certain composition of agents on certain maps will always be hard to play against. You nerf chamber you get double controller, you nerf them you will get something else. I dont understand why people bitch about it so much - it is usually those who cant win
devs dont even think about metas, its the players, analysts and coaches of pro teams
its called entertainer visa and it does take months but there are ways to expedite and bypass the whole situation if they really want to and it has been done in the past. I actually feel it is related to his immigration status in the US which is why he does not wish to talk about it and just made an ambiguous tweet saying there are reasons
idk tbh his situation seems to be a bit tricky and nobody knows the exact reason - some people are saying he doesnt have passport, some are saying visa issues, some say he wasnt on starting roster -- these are all different reasons.
now some people even say he is Russian - and on a green card - he cannot NOT have a passport in that case. Actually the real reason might be that his immigration is a bit tricky and if he leaves US - his re-entry to US might be declined in that case. He probably doesnt wanna take a risk in that case and does not wish to explain that situation to people. Thats his personal reason and we should not prod further about it
its not a cultural thing - when u win a championship as IGL u get that freedom to scout for coaches. I believe Shahzam was also involved in selecting the coach for SEN last year since he has won Masters with them but it didnt really work out. Check the Sentinels podcost i linked in OP - you will see how Sacy answered why him and pancada made the role changes - Sacy was literally part of the decision.
