shazam got 2022 with same core because of 2021 performance but obviously things changed after that because of franchising and optic, xset and all the players being f/a.. sen went on to choose 3 from xset core, 2 from loud and kept their poster kid. obviously these kind of fragmented cores with colliding roles did not work as there is no chemistry.. you cannot just plug in the best from previous years performance into individual roles and expect some magic. unless one feels that the team cannot win or function as a 5.. there is no need to make any changes.. it is better to give them chance to improve and work rather than keeping a guillotine over their heads and say win or leave.. case in point : how did kru turn around 0-9 and win lcq with no changes?

100t case : they started their season pretty well, won red bull against a supposed superteam of c9 and lost to fnatic in lock//in.. their americas season was in fact better than sentinels even if they lost head to head considering if they didnt lose against mibr.. it wouldve been 100t in playoffs rather than eg. so up until this point 100t was better than eg.. which isnt bad. c9 kept vanity, leaf and xeppa to protect their core in which they believed.. most people were shocked after they performed even after runi and jakee inclusion because somehow the chemistry worked.. infact this proves my point - team chemistry is more important than buying the best player in a certain role.. runi or jakee by no means are the best available igl or smokes but since they strengthened the chemistry it was good.. now u cannot guarantee this so the best way to build it is to keep ur core players or if u have new ones give them time to improve.

PRX works without an IGL. No one would've called Boostio a franchised level IGL before the start of the year. Team chemistry >>>>> any individual role or player. That takes time to build, keep chopping and changing and you reset the process to 0

The IGL is the most important part of the core. EG had C0M, Boostio and Jawg for more than 2 years now.. LOUD has Aspas, Less and Saadhak. Fnatic kept Boaster, Derke, Alfajer. PRX just added something. NRG had the Optic core. All these teams had their IGLs playing with their cores for more than an year coming into franchising. Same goes with why Guard and M80 were good. The most important part is to keep core with IGL since they understand how he is calling, Even FNS mentioned how s0m and ardiis were struggling to adjust to his calling style on NRG which created some problems.. Plugging in johnqt or valyn, rather than letting Marved get better with the team is just resetting everything back to 0.

Guard players can win it all if they stick together while most Americas teams work on rebuilding.. it will literally be Guard and EG running it down. They have a golden opportunity. I feel everyone on there is just gonna fail if they dont, including trent

SEN fans dont understand team chemistry, you cant plug and play with players. Almost every successful team has a core which has been together for some time. Its better to give Marved and others time to build that chemistry then plug in johnqt or valyn and begin the process again. They wont stand a chance against EG, LOUD or any team which has been working together for some time.

both of them might be proven IGLs but just because it worked with the core of The Guard and Ghost Gaming/M80 it will not translate to Sentinels... just like it didnt work with dephh. Letting Marved go is a mistake IMO.. only better replacement is Saadhak because of chemistry between Sacy and Pancada (assuming they are on the team)

If you've watched the Optic 2022 Champs vlogs, they mention that the team did not plan to stay together after 2022 even if they made franchising. Maybe some of the old problems resurfaced this year.

!announcement command : FNS will not be on the NRG starting roster. He will play for another org if the opportunity presents itself but if not he will focus on streaming this year.

yay cleared tenz in 2022 but when Demon1 peaked, yay was forced to sit out. 2024 will decide with hopefully all 3 guns blazing on good orgs/teams.

been saying this and honestly dont understand why most people think any franchise org will run after these players after they dropped the ball in a tier 2 tournament. Especially the posts from SEN fans are the dumbest, given the fact they bought people who had a great 2022 for their roster 2023 - they will not even look at Tier 2 losers. NA franchise pays among the highest salaries and has the ability to poach the best from EMEA and Pacific too. Now some broke orgs like C9 might look at them but then mCE would have to agree he made a mistake with the 2 rookies which I dont think he will.
