Nothing. Who tf older than 14 watches anime
So basically he's dev1ce, the most accoladed player in CS history, who can be argued to be the GOAT of the game?
Was really nice seeing FOKUS put up such a good fight against G2. Definitely a team to keep an eye on. As for Acend, we don't really know how they will perform with the new lineup, going through a change of roster but also change of IGL. They may have a honeymoon phase or growing pains.
In any case - fokus has a chance, Acend is a bit of a question mark. Should be an interesting match!
Think that's more of a cultural thing. An Emily in Belgium is trashy af. An Emily in the UK (Where I live now) is ok

These are all names that sound like they belong on poor trashy chicks except maybe Emily
jamppi is igling liquid not scream
with your flair you should know this
No ANGE1 lmao, immediately shit list.
Half of the strats and meta plays you know have been invented by ANGE1
You literally just logged into your alts to upvote your own comment. That's super sad dude.
I played CS for 8-ish years. Ofc I'm going to be talking about comparisons a lot - and if you actually read my comments about CS, they're mainly illustrative and mostly in favor of Valorant. I still prefer Valorant, why would I lie about that?
If you'd see my HLTV profile, half my comments are about Valorant.
You just made a shit point, so take the L and move on instead of getting defensive about an indefensible position
I'm not a CS fanboy but tbh, average viewers don't really matter. Both games want to be the premier FPS esport, and CS is doing better than valorant, that is a simple fact.
To see how popular a game is, tournament views are more important than average viewers if you ask me, since average viewers is very much influenced by the personalities that are playing, not always the game itself
Before I get downvoted into hell: I much prefer valorant but when it comes to esport popularity, CS is still the top FPS
Also, valorant viewerbase is quite a bit younger than CS viewerbase and fanbase.
This means they tend to default to individual streamers, which is why Valorant tends to top CS when it comes to average viewership of just streams.
Many of these kids aren't even aware or interested in the esport.
These are random numbers pulled out of my ass but in my experience, if someone is above average in CS, theres like a 90% chance they follow the pro scene, whereas in Valorant that chance is much much lower.
You voiced my feelings more clearly than I could put them in words. When even your players are like "I don't know why I'm playing this agent" you know something is wrong
He taught many of the top french CS players how to play CS properly since CS:Source
he was only coach because of a wrist injury. That seems to have put his entire career on hold
fnatic is UK-based so could also be UK time
In any case - it'll come tonight
Because istanbul is too ugly and dirty to host masters
Nevermind the food poisoning of players cause of shitty kebab
If you like the heal-aspect of Sage, then skye is a really good agent to learn. Her heals are better than sage, and you get self-guided flashes and a wolf for info.
Also if you are used to CS, then kay/o would be a great pick. His flashes are basically CS flashes, you have a nade/molly and get info with the knife (which surpressed the abilities of other agents, so they have to take more straight up gunfights).
If you were more of a lurker in CS, Chamber is a good pick or someone like Omen is also nice to pick up, cause you can smoke for your team and flash as well.
In essence, if you come straight from CS, kay/o is probs a great agent for you. Can play with team, can play for yourself, good soloqueue agent, abilities you're familiar with and you can force people not to use their abilities to get rid of the "randomness" (at least that's what it feels like for a CS player) in valorant
Was global, faceit lvl 9. I reached diamond 3 in the first act. If you played a lot of faceit reaching immortal shouldn't be a massive issue. You dont have to worry much about mechanics if you start, you just need to rewire your brain a little sometimes around decision making keeping into account valorant abilities
CSGO definitely is less forgiving for climbing, though in valorant if you're not playing a duelist it can feel worse cause you may feel you have less impact than youd like in a game, especially on a sentinel or controller
pure rng indeed. "oh i managed to land in a lucky spot and got the best loot in the game"
"oh I'm fighting a team and theres a guy right behind me without any way to know"
Nothing really strategic about it
Sometimes fun when you play casually but I'd NEVER play it seriously, would get too tilted by the RNG
EMEA had liquid who were not supposed to be there and fnatic with 2 standins. Imagine if optic had to play without yay and crashies?
Inactive? They won EMEA
Where did you find this? Cause huge if true. Still not the biggest fan of franchises
Episode 1 act 3 battle pass still best ever
Drops were coming right after and streamers were already playing the new game for people to watch.
I guess the reasoning is that some trips wouldnt actually cover all flanks, and unlike kj alarmbot, it is visible from any distance.
Thankfully this means that chamber instalocks in my team wont be putting trips on the map where they can be shot before they're triggered anymore, always found that stupid af
Lmao, a buddy of mine from korea was Radiant in korea and struggled to get immortal when he moved to the UK for studies and confirms that EU ranked is much harder than korea/apac
Stop with your assumptions until you see the facts
You never needed to dash when you were on top of that crate? Literally a waste of ability cause you're not in an off angle.
Think more about holding deep long A on jett on haven, or like B long on bind, or on top of the wall near lamps on Bind A. Fracture B peek etc.
It won't stop them doing that, they just have to invest the dash, and after the dash window has closed, they will have to play safer. You still can easily hold those off angles
That really doesn't take very long and isn't really hard. A pro cs player could learn those things in a couple days. There is much more detail in cs mechanics, making it harder to learn. And people who have put in the hours will almost always dominate people who haven't. When it comes to valorant mechanics, it is much easier to hit that skill ceiling.
I'm not shitting on valorant, I love the game to death. Valorant is harder in other areas, but cs is objectively harder when it comes to mechanics
Very simple.
In terms of difficulty:
Mechanics: CS > Valorant
Strategy and coordination: Valorant > CS (though the strategy and coordination in CS pro level is still way above valorant, the ceiling is higher in valorant)
at this point no tier 1 team is going to sign a player that hasn't competed professionally anymore to be their "carry" player.
OG is just his way into the pro scene. If he performs, tier 1 teams will be interested, if only for the experience he brings. Right now he's unproven.
Hope he does perform though, I want a 2014 nostalgia moment
plenty of examples that prove this
It IS oniby. Oniby is part of the team, leeen is inactive. Since matelian is inactive too, it only makes sense that KennyS is just taking matelians place and that's it
A team of 5 CS players just won iceland
NA looking stronger than ever imo, just a big shame FPX wasnt there and fnatic had two standins. Not saying EMEA would have won if FPX were there and fnatic had no standin issues, but sad we could never find out.
What threads have you been reading? People have been putting him in top 5 world for a long time already
Lmao at mentioning tenz. He’s been crap for ages and everyone agrees
The disrespect is obvious. There was never respect. Only poor losers.
Stop acting like morons and you’ll stop being treated like morons.
bruh ANGE1 has been IGLing without coach since 1.6.
If you think the majority is not done by ANGE1 you're mistaken. He was always known for being a great igl in cs back when few teams had coaches
ANGE1
Dude singlehandedly came up with new metas on maps. First one to start using double controller on Bind even before viper was considered a good pick, first one to use the no duelist comp on haven that several teams adopted.
First one to perfect how split was played in early days.
Many things you see pro teams do were first done by FPX, invented by ANGE1
