This meta is so refreshing for viewers you see different comps on every map for each team its so different from the old Astra/Jett/Sova/Sentinel/Flex comps that were j copy paste on every map. Now if they allow some more sentinels besides chamber into comps w some tweaks that would be perfect. Except phoenix ig, RIP

Agreed, especially when it comes to utility combos used.

And I think some teams will slowly move away from Chamber as he is not as efficient as one would think (I was surprised when I saw the stats after he was nerfed) and Cypher receives his buff.

kayo,initiator/duelist,chamber,kj/cypher,smoke

But, you're seeing more agents played than ever before in pro play
Controllers:
All controllers are being played: omen, brim, viper and sometimes astra

Initiators:
All initiators are being played: breach, kayo, skye, sova, kayo

Sentinels:
All sentinels are being played: Sage, chamber, kj, cypher

Duelists:
not all duelists are being played. Onesthat are played: jett, raze, neon. (not played: reyna, phoenix, yoru)

A decent phoenix buff is necessary. Yoru will always be in a weird place and reyna is an agent that goes from ok to overpowered immediately if you tune her kit.

I think yoru will slowly become more and more played because good teams like optic can use it and as we saw it was used pretty well

Reyna is now viable with no Astra meta. I'm waiting to watch some Reynas on icebox, breeze etc.
Yoru problem is he's not a pure entry but still he's strong agent and his pickrate relys on a concrete playstyle of concrete duelist

Yup, they're doing great on balancing. All we need now is a phoenix rework/buff and more maps to really bring out more diversity. I don't think we really need a lot more agents personally.

But I don't see how devs can buff pho without balance ruining. They need totally rework his abilities reminding that pho was a highly entry agent.

I agree, even some teams are making innovation on their comps for a map like Icebox where we usually saw the standard Sage/Sova/Viper/Jett/Flex comp for that map.
