how did they get grouped if they automatically qualified to playoffs in their only international event?

Not saying that TGRD would do a huge damage in Americas, but you're just spewing random shit

the only two maps it brings more value than other sentinels (and that's arguable only if you have a good static mechanical player on it) are Lotus and Bind. Getting value out of KJ is easier on pretty much any map, even without a strong mechanical player. Overall a solid 5/10 rating

"100T is terrible compared to their franchised league" this statement is provably inaccurate. The only reason they didn't make playoffs was themselves, they had mental collapses against both SEN (first match) and MIBR (last match). Winning any of these two matches would've placed them in 4th place in the Americas. (they beat 3 playoff teams during regular season)

"TGRD is great compared to their challengers league" this statement is technically correct, but could be argued that they continually choke in big matches (be that against m80, g2 in the mid season or Moist this playoffs). Or do you believe choking in big matches is what makes GREAT teams?

If 100T is trash, so is TGRD (both statements being factually incorrect)

But hey, don't let reason get in the middle of a stupid argument

posted about a year ago

reality is that skill-wise 100T and TGRD are really close, while both having the same big issue: mental

anyone saying that TGRD is way better than 100T in important matches is delusional, at best

shaz actually played well (not super great, but nowhere near bad). Penny is still not a great flash initiator, dapr threw at least 2 rounds with poor decision making, wippie was poor all around this map

The Inventory Loadout has nothing to do with Valorant. Not sure what you're waffling about

You're delusional. SEN was only good in the beginning, when most teams were still figuring out their rosters. SEN only hit its max potential after TenZ switched over. Then Envy completed their roster (+ Marved + yay) and took over

Just because niesoW is on the same team in a ranked game as Koldamenta, you're going to ignore that his tag is TH? He'll more than likely be the replacement for zeek

I know the statistics, regardless of what old youtube videos you were watching in your teens. Starting with 2014 (Advanced Warfare and after) the "trickshot" style content was way below average, mainly overtaken by competitive related content (CoD World League, pre-CDL) and more casual streamers.

posted about a year ago

No, they didn't.... I work for the company that makes the games, and have been since 2014.. I know when that content was big and when it was not. Nice try tho

posted about a year ago

2016? lol FaZe trickshot era was way past by that time... Black Ops 3/Infinite Warfare (2016 CoD games) did not have that.

What you're referring to happened and boomed between 2010 and 2012 (more than a decade ago, in games such as Modern Warfare 2 , Black Ops 2, etc), stop living in the past.

brobeans comment is absolutely correct, with the exception of FaZe employed professional teams, FaZe members themselves have not been playing games for content for a good while, but rather created drama content.

Not gonna lie, but you sound like you only have 2 brain cells, and even those with questionable efficiency rate. I'd ask you to instead use your brain, but I wouldn't want you to exert such an unbearable effort

just point at them and laugh. keep reminding them, there are more of us than them.

This is provably incorrect. Look throughout history, there's always been more liberal thinking people than conservative ones. Conservatism in general loses overtime, due to its oppressive form of governance (be that religious zealots, imperialism, feudalism, slavery, fascists, autocrats, dictators, etc), followed by a new evolution or ideas of liberalism and popular revolutions (where "you" the lesser in number always lose). It's been well documented throughout human history, across almost the entire globe, the cycle is always the same. It's more than provable that "there are not more of you", it just happens that you have the loudest mouths and spew the most ignorant shit, so it sticks to the weak minded.

But honestly, I don't expect you to actually be educated and know world history at that deep of a level.

where they said riot was making a team deathmatch mode

LOL .. I think I remember this, was it like a year ago?

posted about a year ago

it's always weird when I hear this... players can be on both a college team and another semi-pro/pro team. Playing in the collegiate system is not relevant nor excluding from the other competitive system designed by Riot (i.e.: Challengers/IL)

posted about a year ago

It's funny when I see the complaining... NA had those exact time slots to watch pretty much any Masters/Champions until now.

posted about a year ago

Not sure if you're trolling or not, but Riot has pretty much always used these timeslots for LAN competitions, based on the local time-zone. Like these are pretty much standard at this point, regardless of location....

I don't see a problem in having M Tokyo played 2 weeks after qualification ended (that's actually close to the standard of usual eSports competitions).

However, I do have a problem with Champs LCQ and Champions '23 being so close to M Tokyo... this doesn't make much sense. It's almost like repeating the same stuff that we'll see at Tokyo, but with a few more teams (unless the Chamber buff will bring him back into meta)

This is more than likely the accurate bracket design. Less vs Nats meeting can only happen in lower bracket or in the UBF / GF

The reality is that 100T beat FURIA, LEV and EG... hard to place lower than MIBR based on the regular season results

posted about a year ago

pretty sure that if you look at the results, B is where they belong

posted about a year ago

Kind of hard to claim that now after they lost to LOUD, NRG and 100T on Haven in the last few weeks. Based on how they play it, they'd probably lose Haven against EG as well.

posted about a year ago

You were right bruh... they absolutely beat NRG, my bad /s

The dude said it himself he was born in Russia... wut?

posted about a year ago

From what I heard he's Russian citizen and American permanent resident. You don't get an American passport as permanent resident

posted about a year ago

Japanese Visas for Russian citizens are not so easily obtained at the moment (he'd probably get it, but it would take a long "processing time")

posted about a year ago

The way FURIA is playing, EG would beat them too

posted about a year ago

It's NA that he's referring to, so only players belonging to teams in NA (not Americas League)
