It is very much a risk for defense, don't be deluded, they'll be forced to play aggressive on it (or maybe you don't understand the tactical approach differences between attack and defense)

but winning 9-3 on attack might make that risk very well worth it

Penicillium glaucum , which is the mold added to the various blue cheeses, does not have any bacterial contamination.

Imagine believing that blue cheese results in mold growths in intestines LMAO. How much ignorance grows in your brain?

Hiko and steel also got Top3 at an International event (Masters Berlin 2021)... is there any other brazilian team besides Loud even close to that?

You're just making shit up. pancada clearly said that the role change was to accommodate the IGL role, it was not his personal choice.

"kinda cringe at this point but we actually need world cup"

How is a World Cup even supposed to happen, if at the top tier (i.e.: across all partnership teams) there less than 10 countries represented by 5+ players ?

You can't have a World Cup (inherently open system) in a sport/eSports that is closed up by a franchising structure.

"The only way SEN qualifies i'm pretty sure is if 100T and FURIA lose ALL of their games"

How are 100T and FURIA going to lose all of their games if they still have to play each other?

do you have an example where franchising an FPS game turned out good? I'm looking and can't find it in the last 20 years of eSports

Sounds like you have something in common.... you also talk (post) way too much, and most of the stuff you say is nonsense. You should appreciate the similarities, rather than be upset that other people are allowed to bullshit (albeit less than you).

You should definitely get a job tho... preferably one that's not in your mom's basement

They didn't like it.. they loved it. CS was super popular in China (especially in 1.6 days), with many large tournaments held there (such as World Cyber Games, etc)

They just happen to not be that good historically speaking in FPS games.. not sure why you compared it to MOBAs.

"Wait a few years of valorant being out and they'll start dominating everyone"

This statement is simply incorrect. Same thing was said about Chinese teams in CS 1.6 and CS:GO , and they had max 2 competitive teams (placing in top20 ranking) over 15 years (with some breaks), called wNv Gaming and Tyloo. They won 3 S-tiers events over 20 years.... combined ..... even though there was so much hype behind them

It is already proven that Chinese teams usually have a hard time in tactical first-person shooters, even when they are on the same level playing field (which was the case with CounterStrike 1.6 for a long time).

There are small chances that things will change in Valorant, since the same fundamentals are usually applied.

China should definitely open their competitive scene and get some slots, but I do tend to agree that 3 is too much. However, it is understandable since this is a Tencent owned company.. You can't blame them for forcing it a little bit.

Either way, competitive integrity is not something that Riot prioritized when creating the Partnership system... so it should not come now as a surprise

Considering the circumstances around GE, I think AYRIN actually did a great job these last few weeks. Also, I'm honestly surprised by how RRQ is led by tehbotoL/xferro in-game, they look better than I would've expected (I guess you could base this on very low expectations to begin with)

This dude is just spitting random shit out of his ass lol. You know you could've looked up the tournaments here on vlr.gg before typing that, in order to not appear that stupid, right?

Reykjavík 2021 was a double elim bracket, the entire tournament.
Champs 2021 was double elim group stage, and single elim bracket.

Anyone stating that a primary exhibition/introductory tournament is more important than those is unfortunately braindead (or simply doesn't understand how competitive pro esports tournaments are being approached)

How do you say "literally impossible" and then proceed to provide the potential path to it being possible, but very unlikely?

Schizo?

There's a huge population of Asians in Europe, just more western/central Asian population (closer to Europe) rather than South East Asians (closer to Oceania or Americas)

If you're looking specifically only for South/East Asian population (CH, JP, KR, SG, etc) , this is more common in Western Europe and British Isles, but not so common once you go more inland into continental Europe

Historically, world super powers had separated spheres of influence around the globe, and this can be somewhat noticed in the migration patterns as well (important to note: colonialism and/or corporate colonialism also had a huge role in this type of migration)

in XSET AYRIN was calling on defense and dephh on attack (or at least that's what the intended setup was, however if you look at footage from events you see AYRIN doing 'work' on attacking side too)

Marved was IGL until he was picked up by Envy. He IGL'ed his entire time in FaZe, not sure where you're getting your info from (not saying that Marved is an exceptional IGL because of it, but he definitely has enough experience of calling in Valorant at a pretty decent level)

Sage is pretty fun if you duo with a player that plays molly based agents (eg: viper, kayo, kj, etc), or overall play with a team that provides average/above-average comms and which includes these type of agents. There's a few different ways to play Sage, depending on the map, covering both defensive or aggressive playstyles. It was (somewhat rightly) nerfed a few times, maybe a little too much (no longer can be considered a top quality healer compared to skye for example), but still quite a versatile agent that's slept on sometimes.

"No offense to S0M because he played really well but do you really think that s0m would be that much better than Skuba if Skuba was put on NRG?"

Short answer: Yes. I'd be willing to put $$ on it actually. The level of game awareness and experience alone would put s0m above, before even touching the subject of aim.

PS: And no, I'm not an NRG fanboy or s0m fanboy either, these are simply just facts. One player is quite better than the other, even if you look at only fundamentals and game sense.

I'd take s0m over skuba any day of the week

I'm not sure how it was a fluke or choke. My opinion is that it shows that people saying "100T struggled with a bottom EMEA team" was incorrect at the time, and FUT is actually a good team, much like 100T, even though neither of them are top in either of their regions.

They had 1 very good team, consisting of the core players : solo, termi, glow, bail across multiple orgs (Lunatic-Hai, project.kr, WeMadeFox, etc)

But they can't consistently provide 128 tickrate since 2020

posted about 2 years ago

Valorant servers have not been able to provide consistent 128 refresh rates (tickrate) on their server for a long time. I dislike saying this, but it's the truth: CS:GO netcode (even with servers at 64 tickrate) is actually better/more stable than Valorant's.

The last time Valorant servers did NOT have to reduce the tickrate for at least 3/10 players of the server in order to compensate (hence creating an implied disadvantage) was right after Beta in 2020.

Riot keeps advertising this 128 tickrate consistency, but it can easily be proven wrong via testing their live servers. I wish there was less time (money) spent on skin development, and instead Riot focus on addressing their netcode issues.

This person actually displays the issue very well:

I was a pro in CS when you didn't even know what a keyboard was... the only one proving the attribute of dumbfuck here is you, and it's not looking good. You're just trying to be someone in a scene created by ppl in the early 2000s, maybe learn some shit before succumbing into obscurity, and before you even pass the phase of a nobody.

I made more money at a LAN in 2004 in freaking Serbia than you made in your entire career (which is ez, cuz u won $0)... sit down "lowlife"

posted about 2 years ago

You know very well it's not the truth, next time don't address something like this since you didn't say it (on stream at least), making weird excuses for something that didn't happen is easily the worse scenario. If you wanna make it big in the industry (eSports/content creation) I suggest to have more PR awareness/literacy.

Good luck

Not everyone is lucky to get money from mommy and daddy. Some ppl actually have to work for their shit, I know, it's a weird concept for a lot of ppl here
