I think it might be a similar problem that JDG had in Split 1. They really failed setting Stew up but their calling has improved in their last 2 matches and Stew looks a lot better. I think Wolves are just shit at setting Spring up. Their igling looks even worse now.

I mean, he's top 3 for sure. I think Riens/Lakia/Sacy are the top 3.

Threads like this are always full of recency bias bullshit. If we're talking 2024 than Karon clears Mako for sure. But Mako has been a top controller for a LONG time. I don't know how you could compare a player with a career as long as Mako who has been at so many internationals to a player that's in his first year and has only been to two.

mb i realized theyre not good

Biank and B3ar both fell off mechanically and their igling just wasn't there, nephh is clearly a huge upgrade with his calling and Flexin is an excellent pickup. They're definitely in the running for Champs now.

We're so back

posted 4 months ago

He was pretty awful in Split 1 too. I think he's holding the team back at this point.

posted 4 months ago

Does LockM have photos of TEC's coach with a goat or something? How was this guy not benched already?

posted 4 months ago

Bro if we're going to put flor in tier 1 we might as well send shanks back to tier 1 too kek

posted 4 months ago

Is he going to be playing for Split 2? If there's a time to start experimenting it's now. A roster/coaching change is necessary at this point. If they go to Champs with the same roster it's going to be the same story again.

posted 4 months ago

I'm feeling confident for a BLG win here. Flexin is insanely good no matter what team he's on and I have hope in their calling now that they got a better igl.

most of these players were exposed as frauds lmao

EMEA is too snoozefest to watch but I will watch NAVI vs TH for the shitposting

posted 4 months ago

I'm predicting
EMEA: KC
AMER: Cloud9 (I think LOUD and LEV will look rough but they're in the weaker group so they should be good)
APAC: ZETA (7th-8th best team in the region, hiro isn't very good and they have a lot of tough matches coming up)
CN: TEC

thats why they call him papi chulo

ZETA's performance on Icebox was outright shameless
Laz unable to aim
Hiro refusing to use Gekko ult
SugarZero only getting kills when the round is done and dusted because he spent the whole game lurking

she got diffed by shanks in ranked bro what are you on about

posted 4 months ago

whiffing + terrible flank timing + no utility for retake + no new ideas after all that time off, zeta lookin washed on icebox ngl

Honestly that's some Silver lobby shit. That would remind me of Life playing Clove on Icebox. Okay, so you're swinging into the enemy but you have no dash or satchel to prevent from getting traded. There's just no flexibility with ISO. I could see him being a niche pick (similar to the occasional Reyna on Icebox or the once in a blue moon Phoenix comp) but won't get much play.

posted 4 months ago

Nah there's no way he'll find much use in pro play. ISO not having a way to create space and still having a shit kit outside of the shield will prevent him from finding use in pro play. I could see some Chinese teams picking him because they're basically playing ranked over there but that's about it.

posted 4 months ago

Breeze is the worst map they created and it's criminal that it was in the last rotation. Many pros have said this but it feels like one of the least competitive maps in the games and it's so unfun to watch and play on. Icebox is poorly designed but I don't mind playing on it anymore.

I haven't looked at the stats in awhile but I recall Governor being pretty awful in Split 1, hope to see him bounce back for Split 2.

If ZETA doesn't qualify for Champs I'm feeling a roster change may be needed. DRX 2-0

Tenz masterclass on Omen incoming

posted 4 months ago

GenG/PRX/DRX are staying at the top and we have no reason to believe otherwise, but T1 is debatable. Their recent performances are truly underwhelming. If there's a time for RRQ to step it up and take top 4 it's now.

posted 4 months ago

Arguably the worst list yet

posted 4 months ago

Yeah just remembered they got stomped by NOVA in their last match and only got 3 rounds on attack side Lotus. TEC might be cooked.

Team B will overheat, Team A clears

posted 4 months ago

Jett, Sova, Harbor/Viper, Omen and Cypher is what I'm feeling for the meta, though I could see teams not picking a Sentinel at all and go for the triple Controller comp with Viper acting as a Sentinel. I'm expecting some teams to go with Neon instead of Jett (probably Pacific teams) and other teams going for Chamber as their Sentinel (FUT, Talon).

Scream and Patitek would improve TL

I feel like Mindfreak is similar to FPX Lysoar. One of their better players regionally but when it's time for an international he just doesn't perform. Mindfreak was one of the worst players in Madrid and didn't perform in Shanghai either. He's the only one you could cut depending on the direction PRX wants to go.

posted 4 months ago

How is he still on the roster?

posted 4 months ago

Flex1n is an upgrade for BLG but I don't see how Trace benefits from this. YOU wasn't finding a ton of impact but Biank was the weakest player on BLG.

posted 4 months ago

Flex1n is better than Biank tbh

Another match where DRG is going to look like a good team just to eventually look like a bad team in their match against EDG

posted 4 months ago

I trust in BLG 2-1, they got one more in them

JDG 2-1 TEC
Stew goes crazy here

They stomped Wolves once they switched their comms to English so let's hope it wasn't a fluke
