Lakia is likely not going to be in t1 this year unless GENG resigns him, T1 and DRX seem to have their rosters already

FPX are still playing 'Chinese valorant' and while Trace has a ton of great ideas and I loved their performances on Ascent they lack experience against high level competition (as shown in their match against DRX).

I'm hoping to see both of those teams and others improve even further over the next year. They have the mechanical talent to do what EDG did.

It's the same PRX roster that got WORSE with every international since Champs '23 (with the exception of Monyet during Madrid) and were grouped last we saw them, meanwhile DRX's pickups are actually insanely good

Free1ng is an unbelievable player, and was the most impressive player aside from XLG Rarga during China Ascension

I think it's possible that an org like FNC, NRG or ZETA snake their duelist in favor of signing Aspas. If not, what team has an open slot for duelist that could affort his buyout? The only other reasonable option is a LEV resign or welcome to the Chinese scene

What language does BOOM comm in? If they don't comm English then Sscary probably won't be signed. I'm guessing one of the Alter Ego players or Lmemore will take the 5th spot. Zesbeew was easily the weakest member of the team and will likely go back to t2.

I don't think Haodong was ever an excellent player but the fact is he lead his team to win 7 regional grand finals and made playoffs at a LAN 2 times. He really fell off earlier this year and EDG's entire playstyle was just a mess until muggle and S1mon stepped in. I think there's a chance for Haodong to provide value to a struggling team like TEC at least.

If PRX want to win a trophy they probably need to drop jinggg or something, both players have their own unique styles and bringing in a proven igl or excellent support player would solve some of the teams issues. Like EDG choosing S1mon wasn't a firepower choice it was more of a 'team player' choice.

Patitek supposedly trialed for several teams and nothing worked out. I think a leak showed he trialed for TL most recently. I think he's good enough for T1 (proved it in Shanghai) but it's looking increasingly unlikely he'll get picked up.

Foxy9 on senti was probably his best role but Flashback has potential to be the best senti in the world. He's just the better player.

There's a ridiculous amount of cracked Korean players. Lakia is a very good player, but he's not the best on the market and players like Zest, Beyn or UdoTan for example would bring more fragging value to the team (even if its a10%-20% upgrade). Mechanically he's the worst player on an excellent team. That's just how it is. It's very easy for people to 'hate' the worst player of a good team.

I don't even think GENG should drop him, I think they should run it back and see what happens but if Lakia underperforms again then we'll be having the same discussions again.

This is exactly what TEC needed. Abo is a really good player but his calling was not good and the fact that was a duelist igl was a large part of that. Let Abo focus on fragging. I guess this means B1ack who was temporary is out and the roster is Rb/Abo/Haodong/AC/LockM. I think LockM might need to be dropped for someone with more firepower. Maybe slowly, zixuan or another promising t2 player.
