I wonder how oxy would manage on G2. They don't really need to drop icy because the team has been performing excellently with the system that valyn has, but oxy is deserving of a good team and would undoubtedly frag higher than icy.

What the fuck is with teams making these last minute roster changes before playoffs? This could cost KRU their chance at making champs. This makes me appreciate Boaster and FNC more for how well they integrated Hiro into the team.

posted 4 months ago

NRG's roster is unironically better, oxy needs to drop 37 kills per map here

posted 4 months ago

Hiro needs to stay on a tier 1 team, that's all I care about

We can't make this pickem unless we know which brackets edg and fpx are in

GenG was the biggest surprise. T3xture, lakia and a guy from ranked being apart of the best team in the world was pretty incredible to see.

Is anyone else worried about FPX? They won over a ton of people with their performance in Shanghai and only lost to the #2 and #1 teams at the event. But their biggest issue was poor defensive sides and wonky comps. I haven't seen improvement across Split 2 aside from role/comp changes.

Predictions for their performance at Champs?

JDG in my opinion. Stew and Viva are just on fire with their mechanics, the calling has been great and the team looked the best in China during Split 2. FPX were the only team to beat them but they've looked more dominant than FPX has.

Mako has mastered Omen and he would likely be performing a lot better right now if he wasn't igling. His best performances this year have been on Viper so hard to rate him high for 2024. Karon's gamesense on Omen is incredible in his rookie year and he deserves huge credit for that. Tenz is the most risky/creative Omen player out of the bunch. valyn is kinda interchangeable with Tenz cuz of his experience and being able to perform while igling.

JDG are the favorites but it's going to be a 3 map game I think. Could go either way. Both teams played great this split but JDG look back in rare atom form.

ah shit here we go again
TE 2-0 AG

Does TEC deserve to make champs despite playing like the worst team in cn because they beat FPX? (who everyone considers the #1 team in cn). If we're judging who has been playing the best valorant in cn this split it's the 4 I said. EDG looked better against NOVA and BLG but I struggle to say they're deserving of the champs slot unless they look great in playoffs.

Both. GenG are going to be public enemy #1 if they make it to champs and get antistratted heavily, everyone knows they're a dangerous team to play against. They have to save strats for champs.

But TS played excellently and won so good job by them.

posted 4 months ago

They always have close games with GenG, the GenG players themselves say that RRQ is their hardest opponent regionally and RRQ won their last match with an arguably worse roster, it's going to be a great game

posted 4 months ago

this is honestly a great top 5 but karon is undoubtedly better than mako right now, vlr users couldnt make a list this good

posted 4 months ago

for real JDG legit look like top 2 in china again after they fixed their communication issues, I'd say FPX/Trace/JDG/BLG are top 4 right now and it's a shame EDG is a lock for champs

posted 4 months ago

ssees, monyet and sugarzero on any top 10 list is 0/8 and I like monyet

RRQ vs GenG is always a close game though

now that EDG is shit we can say that LEV is the #1 regular season merchant in the world, we know they aint playin like this in Seoul

GenG players have said many times that RRQ is their hardest opponent, could easily see GenG getting knocked out by them

posted 4 months ago

All Gamers seem to play excellent valorant against bad teams and then look a bit of a mess against pretty good teams like FPX and Trace. JDG have been really good since their match with Wolves so I'm expecting a JDG win here. I'd like to see NOVA qualify but they'd probably choke in playoffs.

We need GuanG in Seoul

G2's style works for them but it's a boring playstyle for fans to watch and the roster doesn't have star power, that's my guess for why their games aren't super hyped

The mental of players are terrible, I'm not sure if you could blame that on their inexperience/age, igling or both. You could tell miniboo gets tilted VERY easily and the whole team will just start zoning out and losing the plot once they begin losing a lead. Happened many times already against PRX, FNC,, G2, GenG, nearly FPX I could go on

posted 4 months ago

Honestly not a high bar considering EMEA's igling problems, Boo and Boaster are the best igls there but I hesitate putting Boo #1 because TH has like the worst mental

posted 4 months ago

Stew instead of Saya
Jemkin is perfectly fine on RRQ
Ethan as initiator/flex should be fine, he's mechanically their best player right now since Demon1's on the bench

posted 4 months ago

GenG members have said several times that RRQ is their hardest opponent and even lost to them in their last match, if anything I would think that's the match they'd want to avoid

I hope victor and crashies aren't signed with NRG next year, victor's a good player but he has not justified being on the team especially with crashies being a package deal, NRG should be built around Demon1, Ethan and s0m.

delulu vlr users when team heretics get brought to their limit by gx and m8s and they realize the team is overrated :c

Roster is not as good as everyone thought. All of the players have been very inconsistent. N4RRATE has been the best one and even he's not performing as well as he did during kickoff. Magnum's igling has also been brought into question a lot. Might just be a case of a kickoff one-trick team.

posted 4 months ago

I remember when N4RRATE was considered the best player going into Madrid and everyone rated KC as highly as TH. Honestly they were a kickoff one trick. They haven't improved at all and their roster is SO inconsistent. Marteen might be one of the most overrated players in t1 and I know Magnum has gotten a lot of criticism for his igling.
