fr, they should put him on sentinel or something, he can still awp pretty effectively on KJ and I think if a team picks him up they'd be inclined to use chamber more after his buff and his skill with awp
why the fuck do some orgs just have the most outrageous unwearable designs I've ever seen in my life. Like it's really not difficult to understand that most people want to wear apparel that is a little more subtle and isn't the largest org graphic of all time with some stupid pattern and cringy text on the back saying some random abstract shit that's only tangentially related to the org. The only org I won't give shit for trying to be a streetwear brand is 100T, but that's because they have an essentials collection that's a minimalist logo on a t shirt as well as their more designed fits that are ACTUALLY WEARABLE OUTSIDE WITHOUT LOOKING STUPID. T1 also has some nice looking stuff too, but most other orgs need to step their game up.

In terms of technical skill, I'd say they're able to hang with the big boys like FNC
tbf NRG/Optics vs Loud has been called El Clasico for a while, but it's getting pushed way too hard considering how young this game is. I also hate how every half decent rivalry is called an el clasico, like I've heard FNC vs TL, PRX vs TS, 100T vs SEN, as well as NRG Loud get called a regional el clasico, like can we please think of another nickname pls

EDG will play confident as hell after beating NAVI, FUT don't have any pressure on them to qualify for champions so they can play loose, and DRX will play nervous and show more of the cracks they had in their past games
I was talking more about the pressure of the moment. A playoff match has more stakes and pressure behind it than a group stage match, and I'm curious if EDG will shy away from the spotlight or play into it considering they would be the cinderella team
I want EDG to get into playoffs to see how they stack up against the best teams in the world. They've shown they have the potential to be great against NaVi but can they replicate some of that against Loud or someone at that level?

Those ZmjKK awp is crazy, but they at least weren't all aggression. I'm just saying they had some tactical nuance to appreciate that they can actually think about the game state and how it should be played instead of go all aim no brain mode constantly, even if they can do that against 90% of teams. That'll help them in the long run bc when they can't just out-duel the best teams like FNC and LOUD they'll actually have something to fall back on

smoke orb agents have a relatively low skill floor, having a player flex onto omen or something for a few maps isn't the end of the world, and brim is legit easy to play, just press on your little ipad and learn some molly lineups and ur good
wall smoke agents are a lot harder just because of how their utility works, viper players need to know more lineups and learn how to play around their utility timings, while harbor walls are super hard to effectively set up without leaving tiny gaps ppl could be in.
EDG wasn't all aggression tho. That first half of pearl showed some tactical nuance that worked very well.
all the teams that autoqualified for playoffs are contenders imo, but of that group of 4 I'm placing them last. I'd predict 5-6, and that's a solid spot to finish considering the way their year started off.
TL and FNC look very good, Fut is on the come up and Navi was a fraud team anyway

ok be fr TL is not the best team in EMEA. Ik that TL beat FNC in the grand finals, but TL had an absolute heater of a game that day and FNC were playing the same comps they were running since Lock/In. If TL and FNC play during Tokyo playoffs I expect an FNC win 9/10
TL had the tools from the beginning to be a great team but never acted on that potential until later. EG had to switch up their active roster to get good, I think it’s a bit different

If this is the skill level of a team where the game has been a fucking underground circuit with no comp in officials, I’m scared of the future Chinese teams
I’ve been saying your EMEA point for a while, outside of FNC and maybe TL the other teams are a joke
in these past two matches, DRX has looked very weak, and a lot of the reason why they've had some success in rounds comes down to basically having Mako or Buzz win a 1v3 or get a random 4k and then once they die barely scrape by in a 3v1 or something. They look just far too disjointed with Foxy9 on the roster, but with zest they don't have enough firepower to handle the world's best like PRX, Fnatic, and Loud. I think that switching zest for Foxy9 in the middle of the playoffs when they already qualified is a bit stupid; those games have very little weight as they've already qualified, and it would be worth it to be a "worse" team with Foxy9 to get him experience on a high level scenario like playoff lower and grand finals. I don't really know enough about the Korean tier 2 scene to suggest roster moves or anything like that, but something has to change here, or DRX just won't be able to get deep in tournaments, considering they lost to the Americas #3 team, and looked shaky at times against the 2nd best Chinese team.
