And the candidates for goats, names like chronicle or derke or aspas aren't nearly as close to domination as s1mples, devices, fakers, topsons, anas of other gaming titles. It is not a bad thing, but imo it is somewhat lacking in narratives, there is no main character in the scene, the eye of the storm. And it will probably take years for one to emerge

the fanbase is big enough, there are orgs there, I personally see several problems
A) Who goes to the now formed VCT NA? 100t, c9, sen, eg, nrg, g2 are all there, problem is that their financial situations can change in months, and I don't see many orgs joining in, or the ones which join are doomed to be the bottom feeders to the big dogs
B) Why would riot go for extra expenses on hosting the entire 5th region? If riot deemed it profitable, I am sure the VCT Calendar would have more than 3 events per year

Played the game a few times, but I just don't like the gunplay, it's fundamentally worse than in CS. not even Riot's fault, source is literally the perfect engine for such a great gunplay. Those who say they will go over are just either going to deadlock or staying in the game despite it being so ''shit''

probably wouldn't, maps in val are designed specifically for abilites, it would require massive changes to avoid maps being one-sided/boring/stale. plenty of cs source and 1.6 maps went extinct in cs go because it was too narrow and the molly would just annihilate the one standing there

speaking on the behalf of the cs community, we will gladly trade dust2+vertigo+cbble to valorant for a working anti cheat or some slight workforce from riot to actually make updates

maybe not in riots style, but skins, bundles, maybe even cash for like top 100 in the act? or maybe add a unique one-time skin for every act, basically if you see this skin then you know this guy grinded the act out completely
