it's actually around 11k viewers rn

truly one of the moves of all time

posted 3 days ago

well TI just ended, CS Pro League is on, tough to get that viewership in

posted 3 days ago

true, probably tracted differently

posted 3 days ago

also true

posted 3 days ago

bad phrasing, but ESL's top dogs are all German afaik, so obviously negotiating the entire youth labour deal will be easier

posted 3 days ago

yes, they has consistent tier 1 slots but didn't work out

posted 3 days ago

Average take of a person who has never looked into the integrity side of things. can't blame him tho, he earns plenty of cash to not give a shit about it

posted 3 days ago

well maybe ESL got a deal cuz they are in ties with the law for a long time now

donk mzinho and senzu had no problems attending Cologne this year (all were 17), m0nesy had no problems in 2022 when he was 17 as well...

posted 3 days ago

they need galorys to lose and 2g to win m80, otherwise they have an inferior round diffrence causing them to lose 3 team tie breakers

posted 3 days ago

afaik they are not even on hold, they are actively selling. problem is that they are selling for pennies, the transfer of two of their players costed pennies afaik

posted 3 days ago

and we know that only 1 goes up...

posted 3 days ago

org will just fold the valorant department, they did the same in CS, maybe thin in finances?

posted 3 days ago

probably pointless now, donk is like top 4 ru athelete in popularity, s1mple is like top 2

posted 3 days ago

give it a year m8, scene should be ready any time now

posted 3 days ago

yeah, it's made for 7th graders
https://ua.tribuna.com/uk/blogs/cybertribuna/3117022-kibersport-vzhe-navit-u-piduchnykakh-navi-vyvchatymut-na-uroka/ here is the link, you can translate it to englsih, but it basically talks about what esports are

posted 3 days ago

a country where there is no other sport to contend with

posted 3 days ago

except other countries have sports like football and basketball taking up the first slots

posted 3 days ago

yes. I wouldn't say playing valorant is laughed at, but it's nowhere near as close as CS. kids at schools grind cs, uni students grind cs, navi winning the cs2 major is mentioned and talked about in books at schools now. most of my generation grew up watching s1mple play, most of UA players are awpers because of it. our uncles/cousins/elder brothers played 1.6 and source, so when most of us were little we just picked it up and enjoyeed it

posted 3 days ago

cuz Ukraine doesn't give two shits about valorant? UA scene literally had matchfixers and washed frauds leaving, meanwhile russia actually had some decent players leaving

posted 3 days ago

what the fuck are you even saying, turkey has 80 mil population, russia has 140 mil population, esports is like top 3 sport there in terms of popularity within youth, ofc they will have more talent

posted 3 days ago

''It is still really likely he will remain in the team according to sources.''

posted 3 days ago

majority turkish team

posted 3 days ago

where the fuck has china and americas has been mentioned in that thread?

posted 3 days ago

fold the org

posted 3 days ago

all of that talk and still 0 international events won by a majority turkish team

posted 3 days ago

FUT winning a map at champs?

posted 3 days ago

c9 spent a shit ton of money on the most mid roster in cs after trusting a CASTER to assemble it.
sentinels and faze started their stocks which would cost 5 serbian dinars
EG fumbled the champs roster and spent millions on mid rosters in cs and dota, recycling same players
NRG and 100T aren't that restarted, but imo they aren't perfect as well

posted 3 days ago

too many turks lost them RR

posted 3 days ago

I would say most emea orgs are fine, but NA orgs are straight up retarded

posted 3 days ago

except you forgot that most esports managements are nowhere near as close to being so far planned ahead.

posted 3 days ago

I mean why would they, extra expanses

posted 3 days ago

which is fundamentally bad for the scene's development

posted 3 days ago

I don't wanna imagine what faker fans would do bro

posted 3 days ago

bro watched the 6 minute video just to be reminded there is grass which he can touch 💀

posted 3 days ago

bro so delusional he has to sip on some big copium cuz he knows navi got into franchising due to being the biggest eu org in CS

posted 3 days ago

due to what would they be more relevant?

posted 3 days ago

cs roster announcement, tenz is back home

posted 3 days ago

well and I think it's not over yet, pretty much every tier 1 TO has like 2-6 events in a year

posted 3 days ago

next year features 30 tier 1 events ( you don't have to visit every single one)

posted 3 days ago

ah yes, the eternal ''not entry = baiter'' take

posted 3 days ago

there were plenty of S-tier events this year
IEM Katowice - Spirit won thanks to donk putting up a historical mvp
PGL Copenhagen Major (Champs) - NaVi upset everyone to pull of a historic win in the most stacked playoff bracket ever
IEM Chengdu - FaZe get their revenge and win a final after 4 failed attempts in a row
EPL - Mouz win the event comfortably
IEM Dallas - G2 with a sub win the event in Dallas, launching monesy even higher in the top 1 debate
Blast Premier Spring Final - navi silence the haters only to lose to spirit 3-1 in the finals
PLAYER BREAK
Esports world cup - navi go thru faze, mouz and g2 to claim the event in Riyadh
IEM Cologne - vitality get their first W of the year after beating navi in a nail biter final

posted 3 days ago

understandable, I got the same way here, I didn't wanna watch BB Dacha. Just FYI, in case you are new, the top teams are NaVi, G2, FaZe, Spirit, MOUZ, Vitality, these 6 are usually in the league of their own, however teams like pain, mongolz, liquid, col, 9z, saw, ef, astralis are sometimes capable of putting up a fight

we are cooked bro

posted 3 days ago

cs isn't IEM only, this year tier 1 cs has two TOs, Blast and ESL/IEM
right now we have pro league, after that it's blast fall finals in Copenhagen followed by blast global finals in singapore and then IEM Rio.
