Feel bad for icy but G2 cant afford their duelist to be their weak link especially since they need to qulify for champs to stay in franchising.

it is a fodder league...... and edg have existed before franchising and have been acive in east asia (when that was a thing). the reason im seperating them is to explain WHY THEY DOMINATE CN and why KK stats dont matter as mush as aspas whos playing in americas lol.

EDG was a team before franchising btw...... and they did have acess to the game before everyone in china did and its no wonder they are dominating lol. VCT CN didnt win champions but a singular team from china whos been competing before franchising was even a thing has lol.

it is but security over anything else. it is sad that certain teams will jsut have it a million times harder to ever make it to tier 1 but i would rather have a valorant scene thats growing and where players/employees doesnt have to be dropped due to financial reasons. so many orgs came and went before franchising. once the scene grows big enough then ill support relegation/promotion.

franchising is just better tbf, i dont see a world where an open circuit cold out compete what we have today. t2 is getting sacrificed a bit but its better in the long run for investors and also job security. certain orgs just wont dissappear and good players can keep playing.

nrg last year had done just as good as G2 this year...... and thats not even the point lol. G2 vs Lev werent hype games compared to NRG against loud last year.

ion know about that but a lack of rivalry this year has made it a bit boring. the optic/nrg loud rivalry or loud vs fnc games were nowhere to be found making games less hype. so many teams fell off this year making rivalry/revenge games mid.

making the game more rewarding would def make the game better. we would also see less trollers and throwers and if riot can find a way to effectively ban people who win trade it could work. would also bring more people to the game since a lot of people are done playing comp after the first act after hitting immo/radiant.
