ACEND was the 2nd best team of 2021 and won Masters 1 EU 2021, got 5th-8th in Masters 3 Berlin 2021, 1st in Champions 2021
they innovated a lot and used Omen and Brim instead of Viper Astra in the dominant Astra Viper meta.
They also had the best Bind in the world.
They had the best AWPer of all time (ALL TIME, not rn) (cNed) and the best Skye of all time (starxo) as well.

VK literally abused an exploit that gives so much information to them and 0 counter-play by ACEND (since Acend wouldnt look for something that isnt allowed).

plus VK lost to X10 anyways, but I dont see people calling VK getting close to ACEND a fluke...

ACEND beat Gambit and Envy (which is literally exact same as OPTIC roster)

I only agree with the Gambit sleep part (still ACEND was a really good team regardless)

VK took the only map off ACE other than GMB and then lost mental after the exploit. Wasn't even that big of a exploit though. ACE also lost to 100T which means Asuna clears them.

If you want to be as accurate as possible you can say their roster is international as it is 2 from LATAM, 2 from NA(if u consider tex from NA too) and 1 from Brazil. But the org is LATAM so it's considered a latam team. It's as simple as looking at their social media to see what each org wants to represent.

Don't even look too far, teams like KOI have 0 Spanish players and they're still an Spanish org with their fanbase being mostly spanish speakers (mostly from spain too). 3/5 of their team is Polish and no one is walking around saying KOI is a polish team lol.
