I have a way to stop smurfs, its called making ranked more rewarding. By having the ability to get skins, banners, titles and even valorant points, there will be more people grinding ranked then making smurf accounts to fuck me in the ass every game. Im a casual gold 2 player and every unranked game theres a level 1-40 account on the other team that gets 30+ kills who is smurfing. I dont get it, just make ranked more rewarding then just a fucking gun buddy

They literally do it in LoL, you get skin for being gold, and you get skin for free with the Hextech mecanism and event reward.

The problem of Val it's they are not enough possibility of Skin because they are no agent skin

blaming smurfs for the only reason you not ranking up is a copium. If you are good enough then you will rankup simply aimdiffing golds in your lobbies

and for every 5 game that has a smurf in the other team, you will have smurfs in your team carrying you in 4 games so theres no excuse

obviously ranked is shit but op is gold so dont think it'll really mean much
insane how people arent just willing to just grind out their mechs, its by far the easiest way to actually climb out of the rank

im not blaming me not ranking up on smurfs, im saying i dont want to play like its a highstake valorant game in unranked. it doesnt matter ranked or comp, youll still get an immortal/radiant on the other team. i just want to play, chill and have fun, no get fucked everytime i play. btw i also rarely play comp, and if I wanted to i could get to play but i have a life outside of playing valorant, which im sure you dont understand

you can still play against those radiant accounts in unrated, you know that? because ranks dont matter at all in unrated, so you can literally have 5 immortals vs 5 golds

what im saying is there should be skill based matchmaking in unrated. the problem is the smurfs, the level 0-40 kids who are just playing on another account. i do take the accountability that ranks dont matter, but im trying to play a normal non-chalant game but i cant do that when theres kids smurfing or just shitting on golds for fun. the issue im addressing is the small amounts of fun unrated games produce because of all the tryhards. if theres nothing to try to play for, then theyll just keep sweating there balls off in unrated or make smurf accounts to do sheriff only, or ghost only to immortal

making the game more rewarding would def make the game better. we would also see less trollers and throwers and if riot can find a way to effectively ban people who win trade it could work. would also bring more people to the game since a lot of people are done playing comp after the first act after hitting immo/radiant.
