Loud used to be really good on pearl but as time passed they got worse and worse. I think maybe catching Loud off guard by picking FNCs perma ban with 0 potential of anti strats out of sadhaak wouldve been the only way to win that game. yea PRX arent the best team of the year. They are the best towards the end but FNC were definitely best of the year especially if were gonna be using placements to measure that. In terms of individual play tho i think PRX far surpassed FNC already. I never thought FNC were insanely good it was just a matter of not having teams like Optic and Loud of last year this year. Navi falling off, DRX getting worse each tournament post champs. This years competition was abysmal imo compared to last year where other than Copenhagen we had 4 teams that could genuinely contest for the win at least, (tho Iceland shouldve been 5 Loud, FNC, Optic, FPX, and Zeta or PRX, we didnt get to see both the top EMEA teams who I thought were far above the rest at the time).

thats why regardless of how good FNC became i felt like Loud were gonna win anyway. Loud specifically feel like an unbreakable wall when it comes to FNC.
Even in Lock/In it felt like Loud figured out what FNC were doing and i genuinely thought that for the rest of the year Loud would win each rematch they would have. Technically im not wrong

I agree they deserve respect but the fact that no one bothered to see how good bilibili was in China shows the amount of glazing NRG gets.
Blg are no pushovers they have such an X10 type playstyle from champs 2021, this is literally a repeat of back then. Nrg were caught so off guard because their egos were so high they failed to see they have such a weakness in their game that theyve never fixed till this day

All this time every deep run NV(sort of)/optic/NRG made were due to insanely lucky circumstances without fail.
Optics Iceland win was hella lucky considering there were only 2 competitors being loud and DRX, zeta and prx were easily run over by them but at the time the 2 greatest teams in the world fnc and fpx werent able to make the tourney. We saw the skill gap in fpx v everyone else cause right after that they won a tournament in which optic got an easy group and an incredibly fortunate playoffs, xsets first international match and DRX throwers to make it a deep run then proceeded to get stomped by prx and fpx.

Champions optic got a free group, they then went to playoffs went against an abysmal TL, got xset AGAIN, got stomped by loud, faced drx throwing another game, got stomped by loud.

Tokyo was DRX at their worst EVER, loud also at their worst, and TL poised to win all 3 maps yet somehow continuously threw each one, and then nrg actually played a genuinely great game against prx but again remember, they had a sub

Nvs only deep run was Berlin and I'd say the only lucky part of the run was that Sen were super complacent after winning Iceland and we heard that they barely even scrimmed anyone. And the rest was fine but it'd be hard to get lucky in an elimination bracket like Berlin

They're a good team but constantly they're making deep runs in tournaments where their opposition are having so many struggles and it shows cause we've only ever seen them win a handicapped tournament.
They're a great team don't get me wrong but I feel like people suck their dicks too hard sometimes, theyre just able to consistently be above the throwing average which honestly in this game seems to be an impressive feat already.

Sticking with the team now is the only way they make international next year. Constantly switching up the roster every 3 months is never gonna get them anywhere no matter how good the players. We have 3 of the best players in role and pancada who has the potential to clutch impossible rounds as well as tenz whos pretty decent and has a crazy high ceiling

Group D was a genuine throw fest. Every team played like ass kept throwing over and over again. More throws in this one group than the entirety of all the leagues combined.
Drx were the best looking ones and even theyre still throwing the easiest rounds as they always do.
Navi clearly looked like the better team in the loud match but for some fucking reason those guys just never decide to play consistent. They get some insane glimpses every few rounds where it looks like they're just unstoppable, cned going crazy, suygetsu getting multikills, angel constantly getting trades, and then there are other rounds where they start super well and get stopped by loud and they proceed to dry peek everything and die one by one. Holding site without any cross angles or any trading positions or suppressive utility.

Now we have loud in playoffs and if they keep playing this mid valorant imma be hella disappointed in what should've been a top 2 team this year
