NGL either gambit or SEN
Somehow SEN managed to constantly get into the worst possible scenarios known to mankind the whole time after Iceland, even before that right before the first strike tournament Shahz's dad passed away and the team didnt prac for like 2 weeks straight.
I think it easily goes to SEN esp with how 2022 went for them, even when the org would allow them to keep consistent teams and players there would always be smth wrong
Tenz getting sick
Sick having family issues
Zombs...
Not being able to pick up Kaplan cause the org wouldnt pay (pre-champs 2021)
Tenz getting sick again
Shroud zellsis pick up that they only gave the team a month and a half to work with
Backstabbing shahz and dapr on the franchising roster and reducing sick to bench
Picking up Dephh (ngl worst one of them all)
Sick mental health
Tenz getting sick again agian (and kyedae :( )
were asking unluckiest, not luckiest
THAT IS THE GREATEST COMEBACK LMAO
but 2 major factors, Marved has double the round count and he was also the only reason optic even made it past DRX, Zeta, and Loud in the finals so all in all, id still say he was a more valuable player
WHY DO DRX ALWAYS HAVE TO THROW SO HARD BRO WTF
Their problem is that they just really wanna throw and never wanna win pistols
DRX can never just be undeniably good. They looked like conquerors in Iceland and then collapsed against optic and zeta, then Copenhagen;-;, and in champs they proceeded to once again collapse against optic when they had the momentum lead.
They just never gonna win
Stax didn't comm it or mako didn't turn, either way was a 2v1 throw if it wasn't makos fault
Nah alr I see now hes full flashed, thought it was partial, that's messed up tho that he didn't comm the flash
Yea sure, waiting for the OP to be ready to shoot again isn't a throw
He peeked so fucking late my guy, it's a goddamn OP peek with your teammate, they can't shoot you both
This is what I mean when I say drx didn't look so good yesterday. They're so fucking passive at the weirdest times when they really need to add more pressure.
These guys are losing to THE NAVI rn
As much as I want to cope Sen being higher, in terms of objective metrics there's no way to say they were any higher than 7th
Here knock yourself out
sentinels actually deserved masters unlike acend and another thing is that Sen were in a group with tl who were favourites at the time and kru who almost beat gambit. Acend on the other hand should've lost to Vivo keyd and even with a free 7 round lead they almost lost.
They went on a run because every team they faced after that was trash, secret has such a terrible off game, liquid look like they were playing with their monitors off, and gambit NEVER CHECKED ANY FUCKING CORNERS
Tbf the changes were pretty far apart and quite minimal so the core was constantly changing and also half of it was done with mistic who was og
Honestly harder than a normal masters and the fact they didn't drop a map till finals says how dominant they were
I still don't agree, sentinels actually deserved masters unlike acend and another thing is that Sen were in a group with tl who were favourites at the time and kru who almost beat gambit. Acend on the other hand should've lost to Vivo keyd and even with a free 7 round lead they almost lost.

All their top players are trash now, with the exception of bonecold, he's as good as he's always been which is just aight.
They were genuinely the most fluke team. Gambit were clearly hella exhausted from their Kru match
There's a difference between a fun game and a great game
Why do you think fnc and prx are so good? Are they trying to play better than their opponents or are they aiming for the best plays possible? The most impact the most unpredictability.
This is the reason valorant takes so long to evolve as a game. Just compare it to CS and you see how everything has become systematic, everyone knows what to do and when to do it and the basics aren't looked at anymore cause they've fine tuned it.
Well never get that in valorant but we should still aim to get as close to perfection as possible or else were only ever gonna see FNC winning tournaments from now on
I'm willing to let teams like 100t and Sen play imperfectly cause they don't have as much match time and they don't have sky high expectations to meet so their game in the lcq was pretty decent for what it was meant to be. Drx and loud some of the most consistently good teams of all of valorant yet they're playing at potentially a level that's equal to their 2021 champs (for drx) and copenhagen (for loud) selves
thats what the guy is saying. Marved and Pancada peaked higher but Mako is consistently near that level of play but never higher. Overall id still put him as number 1 cause consistency is more valuable to an org than one off performances
BRO SAID FNS X_X, FNS has more impact without touching his keyboard
nothing more to be said
It doesnt get more battle of mid than this
Loud fans, im sorry to say, neither of us making groups
we thought 100t sen was battle of the mid? It doesnt get more mid than this
Yea bullshit if 2 games mean he ain't the best anymore look at that
blud is trying to predict every upset possible
damn this post really flopped
Let's bench one of the most consistently good initiators in valorant history
It's hard to say cause it's either 0% or 100% honestly.
If loud are good it's 0% if not it's 100%
Loud aren't making it bro the scrimbux are HORRENDOUS
Nrg just don't look to have very high peaks meanwhile TL were struggling to manage round to round and kinda threw ascent yet they were still close to beating NRG.
Nrg is consistent but as angel said it isn't consistency that gets you the win, it's being able to show up here and today and be able to get to the highest peak you've ever reached before.
Think about how ridiculously insane this champs would be if all the teams were in prime form
We'd have all these juggernauts contesting for the win:
Navi
Drx
Loud
Zeta
NRG
EDIT: forgot KRU were in champs
Alongside the teams that right now look possible contest for FNC
TL
PRX
EG
We've never had a tourney where more than 3 teams were actual contestants for the win and it's a shame it's p much the same in this champs. It feels like valorant takes 1 step forward and 1 step back every year and I wish we could finally get consistently good teams from across the globe
Which would make champs cause Americas sucks rn
For the role they put him on there are many that would be better. I think he's wasted playing in C9 cause he's better than xeppa and that's why they have him flex instead of xeppa
He's not, he's a fucking flex player being put on sentinel, it's the same situation as pancada. He was literally the best flex in NA for last year and for when V1 were having a comeback
Tbf tho from what we can tell koala is better than tenz
Seems a lot of ppl don't get how unlucky Sen were last year, they faced problem after problem non stop and no chance to make a difference. Shame honestly
The main issue isn't even frags to begin with tho, this guy fucked the entire roster plan that Sen had before they picked the players up, you can't tell me that isn't AT LEAST 50% of the reason this team flopped
High chance to make Tokyo considering eg would be out had Sen been in
I'm glad that's actually what it is cause if he was genuinely this stupid it would actually be hella sad
