What are some of the best seasons of television you've ever watched? Off the top of my head:

-1-4 and 6 Game of Thrones
-4-5 Breaking Bad
-4-5 Better Call Saul
-1 and 3-4 The Wire
-1 Arcane (doubt 2 will be as good)
-3 Attack on Titan
-3-4 How I Met Your Mother
-2 Black Sails
-1 Steins;Gate
-2 Haikyuu
-2-3 Avatar: The Last Airbender
-3 The Legend of Korra (This one might be controversial)
-1-2 Rick & Morty
-Yorknew City Arc for Hunter x Hunter (Idk what season that is)
-All of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
-Band of Brothers
-Chernobyl
-1 True Detective

Now these are just my opinions. Do you agree or disagree? Or did I miss some? Haven't seen shows like Stranger Things or The Sopranos, so I may have missed more.

Season 3 imo is on par with ATLA Seasons 2 and 3, but I know that's a controversial take. I still think Season 1 and the beginning of Season 4 are good. Season 2 and the later chunk of Season 4 are pretty bad though.

Disagree with S5 of The Wire. It's still good, but no where near as good as 1 and 3-4. It's easily the weakest season for The Wire. I've heard bad things about the last season of Broklynn 99. I'm gonna watch The Sopranos this year.

I enjoyed the Walking Dead up to the end of Season 6, but other than MAYBE seasons 1 and 4, I wouldn't consider the it top tier. The thing about that show is that each season had some high highs, but then low lows, so it wasn't super consistent. Then it was nothing but lows in Season 7 and 8 and I gave up.

I'm a bit biased as a comic reader who was similar to the GoT book readers, just waiting for certain things to happen and the general public to react.
But I agree, after the Governor & the prison it was stuck in no man's land for a while until the Saviors. And then after that until the Whisperers (the reveal of the whisperers was awesome, with Jesus). Show was hampered when Lauren Cohan (Maggie) and Andrew Lincoln (Rick) left and when the showrunners decided what the did with Carl :(

Idk what you talking about, the anime after Soul Society arc is just amazing. I think you're talking about the anime only arc "Bount arc", that I would understand. Other than that, good anime & would recommend to watch if you have seen Shonen anime like Naruto, Hunter, Jojo (maybe ?), etc.
