more thorough audit logs were put in place because of this incident
1) no one touched the lock date according to the logs -- it's strictly not possible to edit picks when the pick'em is locked.
2) just to be sure, I manually checked a database backup from before the match. AnP's picks did not change from before/after the match.
there are audit logs to prevent this from happening
We've added a new feature where you can pick the teams you expect to advance out of the group.
Since the matches start quite soon, these picks won't be worth any points this time around.

there's a slight delay after a match finishes before pickem scores update
data isn't available via the api so all the stats you see are just entered in manually
honestly IEMs have terrible durability
better off going cheap and easily replaceable
we mistakenly enabled a different type of pickems early on that a very, very small number of people submitted
these were later disabled but still ended up getting calculated in the totals
i added validation to ensure that these submitted-but-later-disabled pickems aren't counted
