The in-game-leader has been a core member of Cloud9 Blue's original roster, being the second-to-last player to be publicly announced signed with the organization.

Can you stfu you cuck. He was literally one of, if not the best igl's in NA. Just because his individual performances weren't up to par doesn't mean he didn't contribute to the team.

I don't disagree but when you are the least individually skilled on a underperforming roster, you are going to be the first one to go. Not only that but when you are also the IGL of an underperforming roster, no matter how good of an IGL you are, you are also going to get the blame. Either the strats weren't working or there wasn't enough talent on the team and with an Org like C9, they expect results. With that being said this is the most logical roster change to make. I believe shinobi is a great IGL but this move makes sense.

Shinobi is a nobody even in the CS scene. nitr0, steel, and DaZeD are the greatest minds in NA CS and in valorant rn no doubt.

DaZeD not really, hella pseudo-intellectual vibes, but Steel was at one point the best IGL in NA CSGO, and could've been huge if not for the IBP shit. Nitr0 literally was the best NA IGL before his departure from Liquid

does anyone remember if c9 ever took timeouts during first strike? it felt like they always kept trying the same thing over and over again strat wise even if it did not work.

i feel like the coach, jamezirl, is implicit too

(idk though, are coaches allowed to spectate during a tournament match?)

Coaches can call time-outs, but they aren't allowed to spectate.

For online tournaments held as part of a First Strike event (“Online Events”), at least one of a Team’s designated coaches may be connected to the voice communication system in the lobby and will only be allowed to talk to players and others during the Agent and Map selection process for each Match, timeouts, half-times and in between Maps (if applicable). Coaches are only permitted to be on stage during Agent and Map selection, Timeouts, Half-Times, and in between Maps.

From what I hear they're going to pick up Leaf who formerly played for Chaos in CS. He's only 17 and he's so good that he got a lot of death threats from mibr fans who thought he was cheating. I've heard people say that C9 have been scrimming with him and also heard that C9 Mitch leaked that they were gonna sign Leaf.
