Name your fav sport
Also is vlr athletic
Does it rugby in america or american football
Or both are diff... Just curious
Well I go to a private school where rugby is very popular so I picked it up and had some talent for it. In general football is more popular in America. Both are similar but different games.
Thats why I was curious, not many Americans like cricket or even know about it at all
I used to play basketball a lot, but I stopped in high school (didn't make the team cuz I'm ass).
Nowadays I'm kind of in shape. I go to the gym 3-4 times a week and can run a mile under 8 minutes lol
Tennis/Cross Country/Skiing
Was on the Squaw Ski Team for a bit, quick cuz of work. Also play on the A team in Tennis for my school + can run a 6 minute mile.
Edit: Btw I mean Homework not work I'm starting a job this summer tho
How is squaw for skiing, people have said its a hard resort.
Wut would the difficulty be in comparison to a place like crested butte?
I've skiied in Japan, Whistler, Jackson Hole Etc
It's honestly pretty easy compared to where I've skiied plus the terrain park is kinda small compared to it's neighbor Northstar
Hm, ill check it out next winter maybe
have u done corbet's in jackson hole, cuz that shit is terrifying. I swear skiing that was the scariest shit ive done in my life
I skiied Jackson Hole when I was like 5. I don't remember much all I remember is that I felt like I was going to die. The blues there felt like double blacks I swear
you could be crazy at track if youre interested. I ran a 6:30 freshman year and right now JR year Im in 5:11 for the mile. You probably like tennis more tho so just do what you like
Yea Tennis is my favorite sport. Idk if I can run a 6 minute mile anymore tho because that was in the fall when we had mile testing for XC. Haven't done much cardio since then LMAO
no you're right, it is the manly one
average NFL players: run 2.4 km (1.5 mi) per match and are physically active for only 11 minutes per match
average chad football players: run 11.3 - 16.1 km (7 - 10 mi) per match for 90+ minutes
Google DK Metcalf and repeat that comment. NFL players are elite athletes imo more so than most soccer players.
sure they're athletic too, but football is incomparably more physically demanding and intensive than the American version
11 of the top nfl athletes would be collapsing on the ground throwing up left and right if they played football against a professional football team for over 90 minutes
Its very different standards. Your argument would have marathoners like Kipchoge be the pinnacle of athleticism and it would leave people like Usain Bolt as mere footnotes. Athleticism is not just how much you can run... it is a mixture of speed, endurance, strength etc.
An NFL player could crush almost any soccer player like a doll and NFL players probably spend a lot more time on conditioning and strength training than soccer players do, they train for different jobs so their athleticism expresses itself in different ways.
TLDR: Running != athleticism
nfl players spend more time conditioning than football players??
just stop embarrassing yourself please
nfl players on average spend 11 minutes running plus all their breaks and timeouts, not 90+ minutes of nonstop action besides only one halftime break. There's no denying that real football is FAR more physically intensive than the american brain damage version.
Also when did I say running is the only determining factor for athleticism? Swimming, close combat fighting like olympic martial arts, etc.
that American guy above must have gotten brain from playing american football too much
Based. Both of those sports are fun af. I don't play either cause a) volleyball there's no male team
b) Tennis is in track season
I play hockey golf baseball regularly, also do snowboard/waterski and wakeboard
Ice Hockey. Played it for 17 years and its way more interesting than people give it credit for. Also even tho im american Rugby is >>
I play baseball
And no I’m not athletic, at least in the way you think about it
I’m strong, and I can run when I want, but I play baseball
I played in little league, didn’t play for all of middle school and tried out for my hs team when I didn’t make basketball. Now I’m a starter lol
my hs baseball team is all horrible people and i did other stuff in school anyways lol but congrats
This is so funny because im a Lightning fan, good luck in the playoffs should be a good series
To play: football(good one not handegg) and skiing To watch: football, basketball
To Play: Tennis, Kho-Kho, Sprinting and Badmintion.
To Watch: Tennis, Kho-Kho, Sprinting, Cricket and Football.
I don't actively play any sports currently, but my favorite to play is floorball. And my favorite to watch is football(soccer) and hockey.
Nobody cares, there are almost no amateur baseball leagues in Brazil. I think there are only 3 leagues in the whole country. I must be one of the few baseball fans here HAHAHA
