Emea esport is in a horrible state for some reasons:

Still a big lack of tournaments and games. Guild for example didnt played for a month now.
No offline events
No third party events
Horrible viewership
No more team in Masters 1, the only offline event
Only 3 Slots for Champions (asia 6)
Russians cant help out, because they will not be able to visit masters 2 and champions.

Do u thing this points will kill valorant esport in europe?

out of all Europe, Valorant is the smallest in Russia. It would take a miracle to turn 99% of the CIS from Csgo, they are pretty much the only ones keeping the games playerbase alive

EU teams got over-confident and Fnatic just got super unlucky . In my honest opinion , Fnatic would've cruised through all the teams here on LAN except LOUD maybe . Remember Derke on LAN is literally better than any player they would've potentially faced this event .

I don't think EU teams got over-confident at all. TL weren't even expecting to play and they still put up a decent performance in hindsight. Fnatic as you said got unlucky. G2 just got outplayed by regions who are fast improving, nothing about their performance looked like them being over-confident. People trying to take away from EMEA as a region after this can do so, but it's undeniable that the tournament would play out differently if FPX were able to come, and Fnatic could play the roster they've been practicing with.

I think saying EU got over-confident takes away from the fact that other regions have improved vastly.

You're also wrong about 1000s of layers of qualifiers, they can literally register for opens in EU opens. they dont have to do anything in strike arabia or whatever layers you think exist. It was made clear at the start of the year.

0/8 EMEA is in really good state. Bunch of competitive high tier teams. Best and most likely most healthy tier 2 scene out of any region. Decent viewership. More big profile orgs joining in etc.

Tier2 is not good at all unless you play in Spanish / French / Turkish VRLs, which have the most engagement with domestic esports fanbases

These will keep on grabbing the best Nordics / East / CIS talents since the latter leagues are not popular by any means

For example East is already done, Awaria disbanded, Anonymo kicked by org and subsequently disbanded, Gamerland kicked by org and 2/5 left, Finest about to disband

Its still better than most regions. Only NA might be better if they get paid well, but even then they don't have similar promotion leagues etc. Its far from "good", but that is just how tier 2 usually works.

top 4-10 emea teams don't have the chance to get a lot of earnings and international attention. Imagine heroic or Astralis in csgo don't have the chance to play offline because the don't reach top 3 emea. Like guild or m3c in this case
