Am I the only one thinking it's out of place for Riot to be conducting an 'investigation' and to give him a suspension?
If any criminal allegations are to be made, it should only be handled by the police. If no criminal charges are made, then it should be handled privately.
It would be another issue if the situation was with someone involved with Riot, but it's not. The accuser has nothing to do with Valorant. So why are Riot getting involved?
It makes sense business wise, anything touching sexual misbehavior is touchy. But I don't think it's fair.
People use the word rpe like all rpe cases are made equal. This is more someone being toxic in a relationship and not knowing how to respect boundaries. Not ok at all, but not the same as what Bill Cosby did or anything like that.
I can tell you right now, no criminal charges will come from this. Worst case scenario a restraining order is put in place (which is obviously not needed).
What do you think?
