Riot handed over their investigation, which found nothing, of note to the police... but still dished out a 6month ban with zero proof of anything before doing so.

posted about 3 years ago

Right. Which is a reach... what right does riot have to try and go above an ongoing legal investigation... I’m sure his lawyers probably advised him not to give riot anything because the legal matter is more serious.

It’s just my opinion, but I personally think riot stuck whatever excuse they could to it and banned him solely to save face/PR.

posted about 3 years ago

Are you asking what “PR” stands for?

It’s public relations. Basically trying to control how the world sees you as a corporation/entity lol

posted about 3 years ago

At least they don’t use “Stone” what the hell is that madness. Come on England get it together lol

CRACKED.

posted about 3 years ago

It’s all PR man.

Innocent until proven guilty (unfortunately) doesn’t apply when it comes to anything related to sexual assault. At least not in the court of public opinion... Many innocent lives have been ruined by bogus sexual assault allegations. Unfortunately, it’s such a hot topic nobody wants to touch you with a ten foot pole once it’s started. Social justice warriors will be all over you trying to destroy you before any real verdict is made.

And don’t get me wrong, if he’s guilty, he deserves to be punished to the fullest extent of the law. But at the moment, the investigation conducted by the police (or riot for that matter) has lead to virtually nothing in terms of solid proof aside from what appears to be a he-said-she-said. Unfortunately, no matter the outcome, it looks as though even if he’s innocent his accuser may have already done the damage she was aiming to do. He’s got a Scarlet letter on his chest and his competitive career may forever be tainted. Only time will tell.

But to answer your question, yeah riot seems to have basically used whatever reach of an excuse they could find to ban him with what seems to be virtually no proof.

100T already looking cracked on it as usual, sorry. Besides, TSM needs to break out of tier 3 before we start saying they have a “map”.

Calling something edgy for no reason, so edgy.

I didn’t say what my reasoning was. Bold of you to assume!

Yep, it’s harder with my kids now but I used to be pretty heavily involved in the gym and “diet control” but the diet was mostly just ensuring I got enough of the macros necessary to gain mass, enough calories, enough protein, etc.

But yeah, if you put yourself at a calorie deficit through portion control or exercise you’re going to lose weight regardless.

That’s not to say the unhealthy food I eat won’t eventually have a toll on my body through things like high cholesterol or plaque build up in my arteries (atherosclerosis). But for now, I’m young (relative to the real world I know I’m a boomer here) and healthy lol.

Meat and potatoes my man... old school lol

You sure, I could hook you up.

Welcome to add my Facebook 😂 but yeah, vegetables and healthy food is for boring people

posted about 3 years ago

I can honestly say I’m about 5”9’ 160-170lbs. In good shape etc. Never been overweight in my 28 years of life. Aaaaaaand....

I’ve barely ever eaten a single vegetable other than potatoes, peas, corn, and the odd piece of carrot in soup. I eat pizza usually once a day. Diet is overrated 😂 green stuff tastes terrible.

I’m sure they’ll be fine with their cracked headshot ability.

I have a hard enough time hitting headshots at mid-range in plat 3 so imagine my frustration trying to hit them across the map on breeze 😂

Maybe watching the pros can help me learn to play it because right now it sucks ass.

Man, us Canadians are like some weird hybrid.

  • We measure distance and speed in Kilometres
  • We measure temperature in Celsius unless it’s for cooking then we use Fahrenheit
  • We say soccer (football is American football)
  • We do SOME measurements in metric, unless it’s height or construction then we use imperial.
  • if something is light we tend to use metric (ie 2 grams), if something is heavy we tend to use imperial (ie 7,000 pounds). We measure our own body weight in pounds.
  • We measure volume in metric (ml, L, etc) unless it’s for cooking then you’ll see “3/4 cups, 2 teaspoons” etc.

(None if this applies to the science or healthcare fields, they use metric exclusively of course but all of this applies to every day life lol)

I admittedly Havnt looked into it but I doubt neurogamer anything more than some mix of mild over-the-counter stimulants (caffeine, B-Vitamins, etc) and natural neutropics like those those in similar Products like “Alpha Brain” or “Knosis”. All perfectly legal and nothing that would be considered performance enhancing... more like taking a legal pre-workout product before competing in an athletic event.

What you SHOULD be worried about regarding esports “doping” is the abuse of controlled prescription pharmaceutical stimulants. Like those commonly prescribed for ADHD... Ritalin, Adderall, Vyvance, etc.

As a 100T fan, sometimes it seems like Hiko can talk a tiny bit too much during games. Sometimes his call outs are super helpful I’m sure, but sometimes they seem so specific and frequent that they may be a little distracting. But who knows, you’d have to ask the team.

That being said, yes I definitely think Hiko, Nitr0 and Steel shall contribute IGL qualities at times. It just comes with experience which they all have. At the very least, they are good mentors for Ethan and Asuna for the most part.

posted about 3 years ago

I Havnt seen any of the stats but anecdotally speaking, from
The many games I’ve played in it now, it seems to heavily favour T side.

I’ve had several of my games, either won or lost, go 10-2 with one team on T side only for the other team to come back and win once they start attacking. Again, I’m speaking only from my experience and only in Plat 3/Diamond 1 elo but still. Seems to happen for more to me than on any other map. So yeah, it’s so big it’s hard for defenders to hold. I’m sure the pros will figure it out a lot better than my diamond 1 team though.

posted about 3 years ago

While all of this may be true, I still dislike breeze in general.

posted about 3 years ago

Sometimes I win, sometimes I lose. Sometimes I streak down to plat 2 sometimes I streak up to diamond 1.

It is what it is, I don’t stress about it. I’m not trying to win the world championship, no reason to be anxious lol. I play ranked because I know I’ll USUALLY get teammates who are communicating and trying to win with me. Otherwise, I don’t stress about it

posted about 3 years ago

Agreed. 100T would beat Fnatic fairly handedly though, I have them at #2 but it’s not a bad list.

For a low population country Canada has an abnormally high amount of Valorant pros.

TenZ, Wardell, Subroza, Steel, Penny, Effys, FNS, gMd, Mkael, Kehmicals, eeiu, shanks, Marved, Huynh, Ayrin, Wedid, AZK, Moose, C4lypso, Koler, Android, etc.

posted about 3 years ago

Yep. More likely than not he’ll be solid, but he may not be the absolute force of nature he is in CS. Valorant has similar mechanics but it’s its own game with its own quirks and metas. There’s no guarantees.

posted about 3 years ago

There’s no guarantee the dominance immediately translates. They are similar games, but not exactly alike. Don’t get me wrong, being a CS God is the strongest foundation you can have, but there is some variance between the people who were great at CS vs elite Valorant and vice versa. The game just suits some play styles better that didn’t work as well in CS.

Agreed. Fuck that guy.

You’re asking why a team entirely comprised of women, who mostly play other teams comprised of women, continuously finds drama?

This one doesn’t take a rocket scientist lol

posted about 3 years ago

You don’t HAVE to come from CS to be a good Valorant player. It just tends to help. It’s the closest related game in terms of strategy and mechanics. But that doesn’t mean there won’t be a handful of great players who are just naturally talented outside of CS.

You don’t like steel, we get it. But dude came in and helped influence several meta changes.

Again, love him, hate him, hate his play, he’s big brain.

posted about 3 years ago

Lol love him or hate him. Steel is big brain.

Half of the big names in the Valorant community are somehow related to CSGO match fixing. At least I buy power was a decade ago. Tex was match fixing like last week 😂

I’m sorry for your loss man, my condolences.

Seems like a great dude, I like Em. I like a little passive aggression lol

I think you’d dislike a lot of NA teams then because in my opinion about the top 6ish would all beat Fnatic lol

Not your guys fault... we got a lot more CS players switch over then EU did lol

posted about 3 years ago

I think he always WANTED to be a Valorant competitor, he just didn’t want to be put into a position where the rest of the team around him sucked (remember TenZ and friends?) and C9 seemed initially unwilling to work with him on revamping the roster. Similar to why JasonR stepped down from Faze when they had first signed him to be their competitive captain.
