i'm a little bit curious
can someone summarize it for me?
JasonR called Tarik an "L friend" for not defending him, Tarik said he didnt back him up cause he thought what Jason did was weird, so Jason tried to push Tarik into a corned, tarik didnt give and said he doesnt care about viewers, or controversy, etc that he is gonna back what he believes in:
JasonR literally made the worst arguments and said things like "I think you are being a girl about it" and "I guess i am old school".
Thats the shortest i can make it, if you really wanna know, watch the vod.
Yes, then he tries to change the conversation to "I didnt want you to defend me, i just wanted you to say i am not misogynist/sexist, which he did, Tarik kept saying that JasonR is not sexist but it is weird that he dodges women.
Also, JasonR stated that Tarik knew him and his wife personally and that he is not like that, to that Tarik replied he knew them but that doesnt mean JasonR is not what people call him.
additional background regarding the controversey itself: Around a month ago JasonR had a strong case built against him for actively avoiding girls when playing ranked, such as dodging and faking a game crash upon hearing a girl in agent lock, or leaving a 10man to soloq ranked because a girl joined. He also didn't provide any reasoning on why at the time and kind of let everything happen.
Tarik specifically said back when the controversey began that he didn't agree with Jason's decisions and that is was weird, but never publically criticized Jason's decisions beyond the term "weird." Tarik also hardly talked about the controversey after.
In addition, Tarik had sad many times before and in the "discussion" today that he doesnt agree with the death threats and stuff coming up to JasonR cause thats just fucked up, it's okay to say that JasonR's decisions are weird, but everything else like insults, death threats or suicide comments are not welcome.
