What are your top 5 EU teams?
My opinion:
- FPX - I still think that they are the best, just pretty unlucky
2./3. Fnatic/Liquid - I'm not sure which one is better - Heretics
- Guild
At the moment (and of course, from my point of view):
Fnatic - Despite of losing against Liquid in the Finals, from my point of view is a team worth watching and which has a huge potential with their recent changes.
FPX - They are just performing ok, but they are not the same they were in the beginning of VALORANT. They were scarier than they are now.
Acend - cNed is just performing as a monster every game, Koldamenta is probably the best IGL in EU atm = Huge team
G2 - First point, I'm a fan, I refuse to take them below Top 4. Second, they are good players, they are not having the best of their performances, but they will come back stronger (I feel like the roster changes being "announced" is going to make a difference)
Heretics - They have been performing well so far, but I don't think the roster changes they are proposing are going to be good for them at all. Anyway, let's see what happens.
1 - Fnatic - They lost to Liquid but I think both teams were trying to not show tactics and Liquid just won on the fundamentals. While I think both teams are amazing, Fnatic is always prepared, they study their opponents A LOT, and their tactics are incredible. That's where I think they shine.
2 - Liquid - Incredible mechanical players, no need to mention how good Scream is cause everyone knows that already. L1NK is a clutch god and I think they have one of the best coaches in the world, Sliggy.
3 - FPX - I think they were a little under-prepared going into the qualifiers but they are a very consistent team.
4 - Guild - I think Yacine can be a bit hit or miss but Leo is one of the best players in the world in my opinion. This team has so much potential especially if it turns out to be Astra meta.
5 - Ascent/Gambit - I think both these teams are on the same caliber right now. Great players all around but both teams can be inconsistent sometimes.
Wtf u mean not trying to show tactics? They already showed all of them while they tried to reach the finals.... plus ur crazy if u think the strats they used in VCT challengers finals will be the same as the ones they use in Masters... so yea ur argument is just ignoring fact that they had no reason to hide any strats since they already showed all them to get to the final
First of all: they didn't get 'rolled', they lost 3-2.
Second: How would you even know they showed ALL their tactics? The less they show the better. They played a 3 duelist comp against TL for the first time. You think that was their tactic mate? They were trying not to show off what they've got.
Third: EVEN IF what you said checks out, then by that logic, V1 is the 2nd best NA team because they beat all the other teams except SEN. Beating a team doesn't necessarily mean they are better than the team they beat. I think Fnatic is SLIGHTLY better than Liquid right now. Period.
If the rumours are true I think Acend was really dumb for the trade and G2 will certainly benefit However, M1xwell seems to me like a 1 trick Jett and Nukkye too on Raze. And personally, I don't think 2 duelist meta is the way to go. If those 2 players get some versatility with their agent pools I think they will definitely be one of the best in EU, if not then I think they will stay around the 7th/8th/9th place in EU.
