KOI KOI Inactive , a new esports organization backed by Spanish esports talent Ibai Llanos and FC Barcelona footballer Gerard Piqué, have announced their roster.

The roster consists of multiple members from UCAM Esports Club UCAM Esports Club Europe Rank #289 Buld Michał Sokal Krizz Krzysztof Łukaszkiewicz —Ladislav "Sacake" Sachr, Oskar "PHYRN" Palmqvist, Gabriel "Shrew" Gessle, and coaches Antonio "Aska" Lozano and Sergio "sikako" Rodriguez. The UCAM core was released at the end of November following two first place finishes in the Fragleague Cup #5 Nordic and ICEBOX Northern Classic, with their win in the former tournament propelling them into the number 14 spot in the European rankings.

The team's other two players, Joona "H1ber" Parviainen and Gabriel "starkk" Marques, join from Finest Finest Inactive DESTRUCT1VEE Hakan Lekesizer Kicks Kimmie Laasner bonkar Malkolm Rench and SAW SAW Inactive Fragger Henrique Correia brk Bruno Ferreira GrTw Tiago Costa Addicted Eduardo Torres Cunha20 David Cunha respectively. The former mutually parted ways with Team Finest in November, while the latter was officially released from SAW earlier this week.

There is almost not gonna be any full national roster of any of the three countries, I think 1 full Spanish roster and the who ever qualifies, that's it

Yup, there is only gonna be 1 national roster plus if one qualifies through the open qual. Other than that the teams have a maximum of 2 regional players, most of them just 1 tho. Actually most likely there is gonna be 0 Italians

The starting line-up must have 1 LTR player from the VRL Spain region (Spain, Portugal, Italy, Andorra, Malta, San Marino and Vatican City) and 3 of them must be from the EMEA region. In addition, the team must have 2 LTR players from the VRL Spain region and 4 of them must be from the EMEA region.

Yeah but keloqz was trialing with Movistar Riders at the time and Kolda was already trying to move to Guild and KOI needed the UCAM core to make this work, as they've already got the team synergy (that includes Sacake, the IGL).
