Indonesian Organizer just announced that Indonesia would get 3 Direct Slot into APAC Challengers Playoff
I'll assume Thailand, Philippines, and Vietnam get the same number. (Based on last SEA Challengers allocation)
So, based on that number, APAC Challengers would be joined by 20-24 teams.

they just gave slot to japan just because of views but its also a fact that in upcoming years viewership in Indian esports would be fucking massive much more than japan's viewership so I personally think riot will invest little by little in sa every year and when we have great amount of viewership, we would get our own challengers, before that we have to do this so-called shitshow of "prove yourself first" to get it
korea is just pure skill level(atleast before iceland) , some of the most standard strats used in pro play were made in korea (alot of my ranked strats are stolen korean pro strats) , also riot knows the potential of korean esports(just ask lol , overwatch and starcraft and no dont give the "ow is aimless game argument " just play widowmaker or mcree in gold and see) so riot's trying to tap into that

Population only increases POTENTIAL playerbase. For example, asia has like 6 billion people (I think) and a playerbase in val from around 3-4 million (I dont know exactly) while europe has 2-3 million players.
Its much closer than the 500mil vs 2 billion that u stated

Paper Rex isn't even Indonesian. They have two Indonesian players, but they're still a Malaysian/Singaporean team. Good Indonesian teams include BOOM, Alter Ego, and ONIC as the current stars, with maybe Bigetron Astro, XcN, and Morph Impact as the mid-tier 1 teams. Then you have the rest of the Tier 2 teams.
Guys (everyone) please stop this bs it's no use wish luck to your representatives may the best teams represent us on the big stages , let the players do the talking. All the talk about regions being treated unfairly is also bs in my perspective yes teams from TH PH etc played better than our teams in 2021 but you shouldn't trast talk and we shouldn't complain about the minor ping issue and slots. Our teams will be going to Thailand to compete this time so no excuses may the best team win
