Who do you think it will be? My money is on Sentinals or Team Liquid.
I see why you think that because of their insane run in EMEA. I feel that their run was more of a fluke because they didn't even qualify for masters and went through some roster changes. But I could be totally wrong and they could win Masters 2. Here are my win percentages for each region. 30% NA, 20% EU, 20% Kor, 10 SEA, 10 Brazil, 5 LA, 5 Jap. This pretty biased because I have not watched other regions and before I make my final call I should probably watch more highlights of other regions.
If you didn't watch any regions other than NA, your opinion is irrelevant.
Oh BuT FnAtIc AnD LiQuId DiDn'T QuAlIfY To MaStErS 1 WhIcH MeAnS SeNtInElS MuSt Be StRoNgEr... Who the fuck cares... That was before Astra appeared and before Viper buff... EU teams are insane now.
For real, no hate to NA but their playstyle is puggy type. I have seen some really good EU teamplays like the Succ+Slow+Nade combo used by FNATIC. The only impressive teamplay i saw from NA is from Envy using the phoenix molly and Raze ult 3K
let me save this comment, so I can tell u how wrong you are when Sentiels whip their EU ass
Don't watch highlights it's pointless. Watch the games and check the utility usage. The more the clusterfuck per round the better the teams. The based rule.
v1 being a darkhorse? sure. fnc however I think are major favorites for the title
FNC doesn't get much praise from what ive seen and heard. They are good, but i dont think many want them to win or maybe im tripping
yeah well they don't have a personality with a cult-like following like Scream, TenZ or mwzera.
I think some teams might underestimate nuturn if you want to follow an underdog
i dont know dude, i was watching the all praised KR scene, and these players do mistakes every single second, it looks like NA, but with really weird strategic mistakes and executes that could be done much much better
Sentinels. And it wont even be close. Cant believe so many bought into the EU hype, even TenZ said EU is predictable. Everyone who said EU>NA said it before the recent challenger event, but if they watched it, then they know Sentinels is head and shoulder above NA (and EU) right now
Yeah bunch of streamers without a coach gonna win for sure. Fakeflagger
not fake flagger, I am just telling who I think will be winning.
Coaches are overrated when the game is this new. The players will have a much deeper understanding of the game than the coach. ShaZam also do all the strats so he's basically player+coach anyway.
Anyway, looking forward for SEN playing against a CIS team in Iceland!! ^^
Oh wait......
Gambit got robbed by unfair slot distribution, cuz Riot don't have enough brain cells to understand that EMEA deserves more spots
I'm not only talking about current Masters 2, they only gave EMEA 3 for Champions whereas Brazil + Latam gonna get 4
without a coach wow what an argument... maybe they need to find a coach
SEN will be in grand finals but from lower bracket, loosing in the first rounds, calling that now.
finally someone whose not biased against NA i do think liquid might take it tho
SEN would like to have a word. SEN is basically more refined BR team. NA as a whole may not be good, but SEN definitely stand a chance against others (I'd even say they are favourite IMO)
their only problem is that they are too good for the region and rarely get pushed to the limit by other teams
why are you so obsessed with saying that brazil is bad? it's not because your region is a joke in literally all the e-sports that you have to direct your frustration to another region
i think Finals will be Liquid beating SEN
Semis will be TL beating FNATIC and SEN beating some BR team or something
EU will win. All the NA plebs saying SEN are gonna get disappointed after TenZ drops 7 kills on LAN and dapr chokes
SEN almost lost to T1 and other teams. They are good but the chances of winning are low. I would be really surprised if they win it all though :)
Most likely Liquid/Fnatic, but im hoping for a NUTURN or Crazy Raccoons victory.
I finnaly have found time to watch some korean gameplay(NU vs KIA). And I was actually impressed. Gunplay isnt something special, I think not the level of EU/NA/BR. But their macro is kinda great. Im curious now how far they can get in Iceland. And how much progress they will show by the end of the year
fnatic
if not im assuming crazy raccoons cause from what i've seen they're pretty insane.
waiting for sharks vs vikings and vikings/sharks vs furia/gl before i make my decision though
Fnatic or Liquid. But its LAN so anything is possible to a some degree.
I don't get it how many people think SEN is gonna win easily. They literally out aim everyone and do punishing plays, but that is just because no NA teams are having any good strats and teamplay, they all just swing and swing. I am not seeing SEN having a good time against well prepared strategic teams from EU tbh... They won't be used to that and will fail with their current playstyle.
Overall probably true, but at the same time that swinging is a part of why they are so good, it's not only for fights it's also for info. Their midrounding is above the two EU teams IMO. That's one thing, that's a particular painpoint for Fnatic especially; they look insane when they've got the read and things are going their way, but stumble when it doesn't. Sentinels play more fluid and can do really good executes even when a crucial component of their team is down.
Oh my god, irony. First strike winners do not participate in Iceland. Absolute Jupiter from Japan, Vision Strikers from Korea, 100T from NA, Team Heretics from EU, Gamelanders from Brazil. What do you think? what's wrong with them?
Team Vikings, TL, and SEN looking good to win it all but I want to see some upsets like X10 from SEA or V1 from NA winning it.
