it was the map veto
they have a permaban being Fracture and have to float Bind acend backyard
then split although it's their pick playing t side can become a bit of a slippery slope
I felt like it was over after scream aced then they get hit with the eco

For me it was mentality as well. And the fact that Acend were fucking hitting every shot, especially Starxo who looked mediocre before this series and ended up top fragging.

imo you kinda have to learn from previous teams results on bind against acend they haven't lost that map in a while
and if they banned that maybe but it was an acend peak and a Liquid underperformance = a mauling

didn't watch the match but just looking at how the numbers played out and the past matches against vivo keyd and shit it feels like the C9 that TL played against would've been able to knock out acend.

I was really rooting for the brothers to win the tourney so now I guess I go root for wholesome redgar Sadge.

You are wrong, and it's a terrible, uneducated, casual af take. Jamppi is one of the most versatile players in Europe. He plays Jett, Astra, KJ, and he IGLs all at the same time. He consistently leads stats across a variety of different roles, and on top of all of this he is an incredible opper. You could not have come up with a more stupid take, tbh.

his Astra is meh as we saw in the last match, KJ is just a fill KJ, and Jett is decent, he doesn't lead stats actually most matches other than breeze vs sentinels in champs he was close to bottom frag or he was bottom frag. and yes he's good, just not amazing work with liquid.

Stop blaming Jamppi or someone else. They just followed the strats. Like Bonecold said TL is strong Aimwise but their strats are to easy to read. If you don't give them the early fights they want, you just need a crossfire, smokes and just spam them down from any angle.

Nah man they lost against the team that knocked the previous finalist into lower bracket. Liquid obviously washed and need a roster reshuffle. /s

On a real note, nobody has realised that liquid pushed through LCQ, got to semis. Them losing a match after not losing a single one for a solid 3-4 months.
People need to realise that some teams have a better day than others. Acend deserved this win, liquid didn't.

Liquid wouldn't be here without Jamppi wtf. He was like best or 2nd best TL player in LCQ. He didn't have great performance in semis, but he is such a important piece of TL.

Leave it guys, you cant keep trying so hard to find a scapegoat to drop. We made a good run and came third at champs. Actually our run is pretty similar to 100Ts run to the semis at masters Berlin, going 2-0 against main rival region but getting stomped in the semis by your own region. In the end, 100T fans also have a positive view towards their Berlin masters run. We too should look at it positively and move on. 100T tried finding a scapegoat and dropped their IGL like a bunch of clowns and look where that lead them. We too dont need to drop our IGL, just need to work on our mistakes and make a proper fracture plan so we can ban bind from now on. Also need sliggy to keep shifting strats here and there. After all yesterday was a day 4/5 of our players underperformed, if you think dropping him for 1 game makes sense, just drop all 4, it wasnt just Jamppi that player trash yesterday
