i don’t get the hate for solo leveling

it’s one of those series where you turn off your brain and watch the main character just masacre everyone FOR FUN

if i wanted complex and thoughtfully done, i’d rewatch death note or erased. not everything has to be thought provoking or have a grand plot. i feel like there’s a time and place for both depending on your mood but i digress.

I don't know what awards you're talking about, but among those, if Frieren doesn't win something is up. Frieren is the peak of anime right now. I think it stands kinda undisputedly above the rest. "Generational" is correct.

dandadan would be the most overrated show in existence if it werent for solo leveling airing right there with it lmao

i have kaiju > dandadan but only barely and thats bc i fw the kaiju form way more than okaruns form

frieren clears the rest of these by a mile
