in the Americas the USA (one country) has 5 slots and the games are played in LA

in EMEA Western Europe has 8 slots and the games are played in Berlin yet Eastern Europe only has 1 slot and no Russian orgs, and Middle East and Africa have no slots other than 2 Turkish teams

but people only complain about Korea? Blantly ignoring every other region

my point is Riot chooses their franchised teams based on a combination of factors and a strict selection process taking financial stability, track record, and fanbase into account,

but people only complain that Korea and Korean domination, if the roles were reversed and Korea was shit then no one would be complaining

Korea is big in Val and has the most franchised spots out of any country in Pacific because their orgs are the biggest and more globally relevant, they aren't given the most spots and recognition because of "racism" or whatever people wanna claim

The last Masters was also literally hosted in SEA meanwhile theres been no international in any Slavic country or any LATAM country other than Brazil yet people complain Riot is "racist" to SEA

Then the other regions should complain more then, If Favouritism is a bad thing then what exactly is the problem of calling out a bad thing.. Just cause others aren't complaining about it doesn't make that thing any less OK.

there was an entire thread with like 30 upvotes calling Riot racist because they "showed Nongshims highlights more" and half the website was going on a rant saying they wanted Korea removed from VCT and that Riot is racist to SEA and favours Korea

The people complaining about Pacific favoritism are mostly SEA fans or those who follow the Pacific League. Do you expect us to follow and watch every VCT league and match across three different time zones to know every region's problems? Do you think we have nothing else to do?

Idk which thread u refer to but most of us were complaining abt asscheck format and streaming platform of SEA T2 especially when compared to others (in pacific).

We were being vocal because its OUR region and we knew exactly how things going in our region, you couldnt expect we will talk about other region not because we dont care but simply because we dont know or our region itself still quite a mess. If you dont like with how things going then how about being a vocal starting by yourself?

Other than all the topic i mentioned above, i think youre just cherrypicking a few comment on a trivial stuff that most of us even aint complain about.

Sorry for the allat, i cant sleep right now and idk what to do.
