Whether true or not, the allegations against the Korean teams about this whole "scrim mafia" thing is not a good look for the scene and the fact that it happens so often doesn't help either. Maybe Riot should move VCT Pacific games to another country when the partnership renewal happens in 2027? Japan is a good option looking at the audience maybe.

japan isnt ideal cuz korean teams can still play with low ping and scrim with other korean teams + sea teams will have barely any scrim partners due to the high ping sea players get in tokyo servers.
if we're looking at it geographically the ideal place is in Taiwan because its literally in between KR JP and SEA
from what i understand CMIIW.. its the SEA + other nonSEA like teams GE who stopped scrimming with Korean teams and not the other way around because of the allegation/rumour of scrim leaks by the korean team.. That's why PRX favorite scrim partners are EDG from CN and not other APAC teams either from T1 or T2.
that makes a lot more sense. it's surprising that this seems to be the reason why PRX isn't scrimming DRX considering they used to be big scrim buddies and the last i heard of it was that PRX slowly stopped scrimming DRX due to differing schedules or being actual competitors or something of that sort.
