Why do people say optic/nrg

I get that they had 3 optic players had one point but that doesn’t just mean they are optic, they only have 1 old optic guy now. Nrg fans try to take optics credit and it’s laughable😭

If ur gonna group teams then make it make sense like
Navi/fpx
Vs/drx
Envy/optic

considering VCT casters/analysts themselves refer to NRG as ex optic, I say it's fairly reasonable

Tbf most people say NV/Optic/NRG
They also had Chet so 4 core members

fns is a part of optic so therefore nrg is basically a part of optic so therefore nrg is optic

2023 NRG was pretty much optic lite

Till end of 2023, it was definitely the optic/envy core
Even in 2024, marved, victor and Crashies were on the team.
In 2025, it's just FNS but it still feels like OpTic since FNS was such a major part of optic

vs/drx isnt said for the same reason nv/optc isnt said - one bought the other, its like saying rankers/envy, its redundant
nrg/optc is used to separate from pre-franchising nrg which had nothing to do with optic
also why do you even care

everyone from optic shouldn't even be in tier 1 right now
