i just randomly was watching a GENG vod from the last game they played this year against RRQ and i noticed something that i somehow didn't before.
munchkin has the strangest playstyle on attack
for all 3 maps he played viper, and on sunset he had a wall that was getting hard countered by a single cypher cam(unlucky) and he had an orb on a that didn't have enough pressure in it to commit more than one defender. there's already going to be one defender holding that line ideally, so the orb didn't find much value.
on corrode he did the mid wall youve probably seen, and usually saved his orbs for the exec rather than throwing it toward yard for example.
you know what munckin did to compensate for the lack of pressure from his viper util? he'd create pressure by just swinging shit. on sunset he would put up his a main orb, put it down, and just swing a main and try to bang out whoever was holding. in one hilarious round, hes sitting in a main on the left side, with an orb for the mid rotates, and his team is blocked by an elbow smoke. after the a main one way goes up, he just jump through it and kills two. he had SEVEN first bloods. not on backstabs in a 5v5 retake, he was just taking opening fights.
in a round during corrode, both viper walls go up, and munchkin walks through both and all the way into top mid. hes swung mid connector to B and tries to get into spawn ~20 seconds into the round, but RRQ know that this could happen so they silently reclear mid and catch him with his pants down, he gets shot in the back.
you don't need me to tell you how much value viper provides at the pro level. the amount of pressure she can create from your spawn makes her my favorite agent. so tell me why instead of using it, munchkin swings into an OP dry, orb still in his pocket

it might just be that he wants to play with his new teammates to get reps and stuff on stage

Now that VLT won a map, what does this mean for NS vs NAOS? e.g. what happens if NS wins or loses
If it's 2 - 1 NS, VLT get it, if NS 2 - 0, NAOS get 1st seed (I think...)

Most showmatches are usually an hour before the actual match starts, so I guess in around 2 and a half hours, but VLR isn't advertising it

I had to keep Skuba, Flashback and Patmen because only 3 transfers and I already had Ara, JonahP and Valyn eliminated from earlier in the tournament
the only way I see it is DRX's curse of placing 5 - 6th in internationals, no higher, no lower
