skill cap of tier 1 lowering?

i feel like there's more of an "any team can beat any other team on any given day" element to vct now with things like NOVA 2-0 EDG and BME 2-0 Gen.G

how far into tier 2 does this extend, could a high level tier 2 team beat a decent tier 1 team?

honestly this is cool to see as a viewer but what does it mean for pros and teams since consistency is so important? also ascension teams as well?

I think pacific is just really competitive in terms of all the teams are close in skill level / strong. And china is just volatile af.

Nova vs edg isnt an upset. Its quite diff from boom dos9 life game. Nova is just missing proper duelist atm. Still their top 3 players cb guan g ezier are good enough to carry.

Geng has a pretty mid roster and EDG has always lost these random matches in china that don’t really matter

I think this has less to do with the players than it does with the game. It feels like there are new agents, new metas, new shit being implemented every day. While a team might be the clear winner on paper, another team might've had more time for practice or trying new things.
