I think he's a top 5 player of all time. All he's missing from his resume is a Champs and if he gets that, or even another Masters, he's the best player of all time imo.

I think he will be equal to chronicle if he wins another masters. Also top 5 is still hard I would say. Aspas, derke, chronicle, sacy and Leo are in top 5 in my opinion. Meteor is for sure top 7 tho.

Meteor ain't outfragging the reigning duelists, but he genuinely looks like he has the strongest mental out of anybody I've ever seen touch this game, so when he's alive you can never count him out at all, and also the most versatile player out of the GOAT conversations, plays high action roles like the duelist and plays the slow action roles like the sentinels/viper. This guy's actually built different

Leo? Even kk is comparable I would say. Also how can you forget sacy? The only masters and champs winner. I think sacy is above all of them for top 5.

Sacy and Leo definitely have a good chance to be on the top 5 list for me. You could remove Tenz or Meteor for Sacy or Leo and I would be completely fine with it. KK maybe, but he definitely has less of an argument.

Nah Leo can replace tenz or meteor. He has 2 masters as well and has been consistent for a long time in the scene. Problem with meteor is longevity. He had top tier performance since only last year. In my opinion he is in like top 7-8 tied with likes of kk, sadhhak, alfa, etc.

Yeah I changed it before you made this comment to say exactly what you said my bad. Also I feel like lock in isn't as valuable as masters. The longevity argument is fair, but it's not like his individual performance was lacking at all. He's been playing individually well in the tier 1 scene since 2022, it was just that his team wasn't good in 2022 and most of 2023. Even before then, he was cracked in Nth. Leo has a really good argument and I could easily see you taking tenz or meteor off for him.

though I'd put tenz and sacy on the same level as meteor in the debate, which is a tier below the rest. tenz and meteor were great in the masters they won but also had long periods of being mid/bad on bad teams, while sacy peaked at champs 22 and wasn't great otherwise

when the only difference between him and being the goat is one more masters/champs, I don't think putting him at number 5 is a crazy statement at all. And he was performing at this level last year too.

Izu and buzz were better than him most of the tournament though he was not fragging close to the level he was on Gen G until the final

I agree with that, but he was still playing really well and close to their level even before the GF. And since he performed much better than Buzz and Izu in the GF I think it's fair to say that he was their MVP in the tournament overall.
