We won't get it for a while, too many essential agents on some maps. Once the meta becomes very diverse we'll see it.

yeah the meta is not gonna become diverse, even in LoL with agent bans most pros are too scared/lazy to try other picks they just stick with meta always. Now that in League they introduced fearless draft pros are experimenting and increasing their champion pool and the matches are WAY more fun to watch. Likewise if Riot does not PUSH pros to be more creative they won't. Look at Ascent that map is so fucking boring same comps always. If they include one ban per team then it still won't change much. There are alternatives for every agent, they ban sova? go fade, they ban omen? go astra
The only issue I can see is this will cause coaches to be frustrated when a key agent like breach is banned which would heavily change their strats. If someone bans G2's Breach or Tejo their gameplan falls apart pretty quick which is why I don't think they will ever introduce bans sadly.

it would genuinely DESTROY the entire competitive scene and send us back to a level of play that we were seeing in 2021.
1 ban completely destroys comps in this age and you clearly dont understand that.

Ban a cornerstone of 1 map like viper on icebox and everyones done for
Ban the backbone of 1 comp and the opponents are completely screwed scrambling to create a whole different comp

unfortunately agent bans would ruin competitive. In ranked I think it's fine. But when pros spend weeks practicing a team comp you can't just ruin that.

I think it will be other way around it will ruin competitve more than rank as people in rank wouldnt know what to ban and what to not like the strong or weak agents in each map more over it will diversify team comps alot idk but rank will be very diff

As far as pro play now teamplay coordination would matter more and games would be more close i think

In ranked people would ban the annoying/broken agents. It's how it is in Marvel Rivals and it's awesome. Remember when Iso was gamebreakingly broken for like a week? he would have gotten banned every game and it wouldn't have been as awful. Same with Chamber, same with Viper. Pro's practice team comps, and changing 1 variable in a team comp will completely ruin any utility combos, or site executes that they practiced. Banning Reyna in Ranked and the guy just swapping to Iso isn't going to ruin weeks of practice.
