obviously i’m not defending fns but if you’re gonna be toxic to your team regardless of how good you think you are and how bad you think your team is, you gotta check yourself first bc that mentality is gonna make you the weak link if you actually get onto a better team

have you not watched anything from the NRG interviews? Verno clearly has an attitude problem. Its one thing to develop a player and another to babysit. Hes a talented player but to my understanding it was also a team decision not necessarily a management decision.
They have tried getting rid of FNS once and it failed miserably. Who would you even replace him with as IGL?

also, bonkar isnt a bum coach, he wouldnt have brought verno if he had no work ethic and beefs with teammates/attitude issues, its just not plausible
99% chance he had a personal altercation and NRG had to give a PR response, it just is not likely for someone like that to be highly regarded by a coach with that much experience,

I don't think Verno to Brawk is as much of a downgrade as people are making it out to be. Verno has higher potential and reached higher peaks in T2, but I think Brawk can be very good for them. especially since his comms are way better than Verno. The more concerning part is going from Bonkar to Mikes, in my opinion. If it was Verno for Brawk while still having Bonkar, I wouldn't be worried at all, but I need Mikes to prove me wrong. Clearly, FNS and the team wasn't seeing eye to eye with Bonkar but I still think he's a much better coach than Mikes.
I actually rate mikes, hes good strategically, always has been i just think hes a bit of a weak head coach, bonkar is more of a leader. i just dont think hes a good HEAD coach, so probably hoping fns will do more
its important to remmeber mikes created the first envy core that was good for a long time, that entire system was his, chet just joined afterwards
That's fair, and not to discredit Mikes accomplishments, but I don’t place much value on things from 3 years ago at this point, the game has evolved so much but I do think it shows he's a smart guy and has good work ethic. I agree that he’s solid strategically, and that’s probably all NRG needs. I think s0m, FNS, and Ethan are strong enough leaders that they don’t necessarily need a head coach who leads in that way. It reminds me of when SEN switched from Sykko to Kaplan. While Kaplan has since proven to be strong both strategically and in leadership, when he first replaced Sykko, it felt like he was more focused on strategy.
